I've nothing but bad experiences with Target Optical. At first, I mean- it's Target, and who doesn't love Target. Their eyeglass department does not live up to the standards of the store. Last time, I waited over 45 minutes for the employee to return from their lunch break. The website stated they were open and did not mention anything about closing for lunch. When I arrived, there was a handwritten note, which stated be back in 31 mins. Some guy showed back up 45 mins later.
I would literally live in this place if I could. This has been my Target for years and I couldn't ask for a cooler Target to shop at. I moved from Mandarin to the west side of Jacksonville but continue to exclusively shop at this Target as well as only using them for my family's prescription medication. I happily make the 30+ minute drive across the bridge to do any of my shopping and pick up all of my prescriptions for myself and my family. Any trip to Target wouldn't be complete without stopping by Starbucks. I've seen an incredible turnaround in customer service since Chandler took over as manager. The cafe area is spotless and they've never gotten a drink wrong. All of the employees seem so happy and the service is incredible. I actually go out of my way when I'm in the area to go to that Starbucks instead of the stand alone across the street. T, Dom, Kevin, Chandler, Heather and everyone else are all amazing assets to this store. The excellent leadership really shows what a difference treating your employees with respect does. Myself and my two little girls are on a first name basis with the baristas as well as the pharmacy staff. It's really rare to find people that take the time to get to know their customers. Dawn, Jen and Derrick are all wonderful in the pharmacy as well. They have gone above and beyond for me more times than I can even count on all of my fingers and toes combined. I pass at least 8 CVS's, 4 Targets and probably 10 Starbucks stores to get to the Southside location, and it's worth it every time. 10/10, best Target in the history of Targets.
I don’t always write reviews unfortunately unless service was superb or horrendous. My experience here was above and beyond and yes it is only Target so that may sound weird, but I was returning over 50 food items that got charged to the incorrect card so it was a tedious and time consuming transaction. My main reason for this review is to praise MICHELLE at the customer service counter, she’s a team lead and was just so incredibly understanding and patient due to the time this took at 9pm. Her daughter also helped me in the beginning and same demeanor as her mom, just so nice! They both deserve a GOLD STAR for their attitudes and willingness to rectify my mistake!! Great experience with great people!! All employees should be this wonderful!! Thanks Michelle!!
Target is the best. I love how there are always things on sale or on clearance. I can always find things to buy here. Thank you!
I was shopping on SUPERBOWL weekend. My electric cart ran out of power. I asked for and received a newly charged one so that I could continue my shopping. I also had selected an item that didn't have a price tag on it. It was the only one like it. A different associate although obviously tired and very young lady too, but still professional in handling my requests helped me by getting a price for me and directing me to a cashier with no waiting. I sure appreciated all the help since I am a senior and handicapped too. Thanks Target Associates on Southside Blvd. in Jacksonville, Florida!. Just a few more reasons to stay a loyal Target customer!
Not a super Target, do limited grocery selection but otherwise the ambiance and quality you would expect from Target. There's a nice Starbucks with a seating area to make the shopping experience even better
I don't know what it is about this location but I don't like it. It feels dirty and unclean. The employees are just kinda there, no care in the world. Huge lines a 1 register open along with a customer service return center. In addition to that the grocery side isn't that great and looks like it needs some help.
The older woman named Shelley who usually works at the self checkout pushed my cart “out of the way” while it was behind me as I scanned my items with my infant sitting in the seat at the front of the cart. She could have easily asked me to move it if it was an issue there’s absolutely no reason to put your hands on a cart with someone’s baby in it and move it that’s unacceptable
It's always a pleasure coming to this Target! The employees are always so kind and accommodating. I've had a myriad of questions and products that I've brought to customer service, and they've always gone above and beyond. This store is also so clean which I think is important to state. I know it's hard keeping up with busy locations, and across the board, this location does so. I will say I prefer going during the weeks or late in the evenings because the parking lot can get really intense in this area. I would also beware of this location running out of things from time to time. Other than that, love coming to this Target, and I actually prefer coming to this location because of the convenience of the other stores around. Plus, the mall is just a hop, skip and a jump away!
Their phone just disconnected the call four times. It’s scary to make a purchase and cannot reach a human.
