Feedback: please don't make mobile order pick ups all the way in the back of the store!! customers do mobile orders to expedite the process AND not have to deal with the stress of walking through the store! With that being said, Targets are great and I can't go without a week not stopping by one. Recently I have noticed most of the targets I have been to have very dirty restrooms. That would be nice to improve.
Worked at this location, management would bad mouth employees behind their back and in front of other employees. Always seemed to be drama in multiple departments and when HR would be told they would claim to look into but never would. Expected employees to work 50 hours a week around holidays but not give employees raises for working more. For the profits this stores brings in on a daily basis, you think employees would be treated and taken care of better, but only management receives bonus'. Working here has made me view Target as a whole in a different light. Hopefully they do better and get management that treats employees with dignity and respect.
They need to hire more people and treat them better. Staff looks overwhelmed and overworked.. drive up takes forever near holiday times and later in the day.. regular groceries are always running out n not getting restocked soon enough.. does target not value its customers? Is the bottom line minimal staff to get the job done? Things have really gone down hill since summer n fall.. i try to stop at target chesterfield or ballwin when i can instead.. at least drive up gets collected in 2 hours like its supposed to n they have everything i need in stock! My husband has just spent 40min in drive up waiting!
Today I went to Target Town & Country Chesterfield to get some last minute baby items. Upon checkout my gift card wouldn’t work at the register despite a balance. I paid for the items & confirmed online that I still had a balance. I went to “Returns” and Andre assisted me. He was so kind & patient. I’m heavily pregnant, & he grabbed me a chair while I waited for him to complete my return/new transaction. At the completion, he offered to help me take my items to my vehicle. I don’t know what this store has to do but KEEP ANDRE!!! In a world where people are increasingly rude & customer service is lacking, he is a refreshing light.
You may not be aware that Target now has an optical department. Visit Tom at the Optical Department for an amazing fitting they accept outside prescriptions if not expired. Tom made some great recommendations AND worked within my insurance limits to help me pay less out of pocket. Tom has the latest high tech gadgets to get you the most accurate eyeglasses possible and was quick, kind and professional to work with.
This target usually has amazing service. But, it’s gone way down in the past month. I recently went to pick up my drive up order that was ready and there was 60 cars waiting. I waited there for an hour and they never gave me my order. This was 100 dollars worth of stuff. No one was able to receive their orders even after going inside and asking for their orders. The workers just told people to “go back to their car” after asking when their order would come out. The service was atrocious. I would not at all recommend drive up or pickup here.
Town and country store moved order pickup to the middle of the store aisle A53. Drive up or don’t bother ordering ahead defeats the purpose or quick and easy order pickup!!!
Tried to call and inquire about the gift card exchange policy mentioned on the target app. Had to call every department because no one was answering the phones they only ring continuously. One department answered and immediately put me on hold, which lasted for 12 minutes before I hung up as they clearly weren't coming back. Finally got through to HR and she rudely responded they don't participate in the policy and that no one does without acknowledging that someone has to or it wouldn't say they do in the target app. Horrible customer service.
The best store in MO. Good price, nice customer service. You can find everything in this store. Nice atmosphere in the store, very comfort you feel here to shop. The store is very clean and beautiful.
**Parking lot** store is nice, parking lot is primarily dark except for front row of lights. Does not feel safe especially for women at night since this parking lot is so dark.
