For anyone who is not from India, this is definitely not the "Taste" of India..! I just can't understand how this place has 4+ Ratings. Have ordered delivery a few times from here and the food has always been at varying levels of disappointment. Chicken and Kebab from the Assorted Sampler was dry and had no flavor whatsoever. Thankfully the Vegetarian options tasted better. Biryani was nothing more than rice mixed with masala with no flavor of Chicken precooked meat?? Vegetarian curries are usually pretty good but the ones with meat are touch and go. Will no longer order from here - tired of being disappointed everytime
Good Indian food. My 1st time here. Prices are high as with most restaurants these days but with this place you have to ask for an itemized receipt if you ordered multiple items. They really need to upgrade their register to have a more descriptive receipt for customers.
This is the best restaurant for Indian food.. Food is very delicious and prices are fair, it's not too high Like other's .. staff is really nice and friendly.. Now this is my all time favorite restaurant. I"ll definitely go there whenever I"ll visit New Jersey.
Worst Indian I ever had!! Ordered multiple items. 1. Chicken tikka- suppose to be made in tandoor but theirs was flavorless and cooked on pan, also used chicken breast instead of thigh 2. Papri Chaat- no flavor, sauce or yogurt 3. Chicken biryani- boneless chicken breast in biryani but tasted like fried rice 4. Shrimp Jira- frozen shrimp, flavorless Stomach ache within an hour of eating and got food poisoning.
Best Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken we have ever tried. Lassi was a bit sweet but over all amazing place to try Indian food.
Wonderful experience here. It's very authentic and seems to be family-run. The woman who served us was incredibly nice and the food was delicious. The ambiance was not high-end, but everything was clean and fine. Prices were just slightly higher than average - dinner for 2 with no drinks was about $45. We sincerely appreciated that they packed us extra rice in our to-go bag, what a nice touch. I had the paneer makhani and I enjoyed it very much. They were generous portions and the chutney and tamarind sauce that came with the papadam were very flavorful. The naan was hot and buttery and garlicky, just as I like it! Lots of vegetarian options. I would return.
Worst food & customer service ever I just ordered food from them they charged me full price and gave me missing items….. The owner was very rude on the Phone and kept or arguing and didn’t want to accept this mistake about missing items The good quality is really bad also and it’s over priced
Yummy food! it seems like a hole in the wall, but definitely worth the trip.
the chicken tika masala was tender and juicy and the garlic naan was very delicious. the only issue regular naan was burnt a little. but the the food was very good
Thursday 6:36pm now. It is Definitely during the open hours. I called more than 10 times for asking to dine in. No one answered. I wish this restaurant should be care for customers service
