Tawas Do it Best Hardware has been operating their family-owned business for nearly 40 years. In 2001 a 5,000 square foot addition was added and a complete renovation of all departments increased their product assortment to over 40,000 items.
The store specializes in several departments including sporting goods, home décor, an extensive paint department, outdoor living and lawn & garden products. In 2008 the store added a convenience lumber department offering dimensional lumber, treated lumber, insulation, drywall, and other building materials. Windows, doors, kitchen cabinets, flooring and many other items are available thru our warehouse on a weekly basis.
Our plumbing and electrical departments are stocked heavily with everything you need and we have the knowledgeable staff to walk you thru any project with ease and we will save you money by helping you do it yourself!
We also offer a full rental center with many tools to rent from small hand tools to trenchers, front end loader, Bobcat, post hole diggers, floor sander & detailer, and much more.
