Taylor Road Middle School

I have a lot of complaints, and it is not just the bathrooms and the lunch rooms... that is definitely not the real problems our school has. I am going to start with teachers. Listen, if you do not like kids and are just going to be rude and act like you hate all of us, then why are you a teacher in the first place? Teachers do not trust anyone here, and they make up the dumbest rules. I am not even being dramatic, these teachers absolutely hate all human socialization at this school. The teachers pound you up with work, they do not work around any of your individual problems. I throw up almost every morning because this school makes me stressed to the MAX. Another thing, if you are not in TAG, you are NOT going to have good teachers. This has always bothered me, why would they give all of the on level students the hard, rude teachers? We are over here having to suffer when the TAG kids get to have the nicest and best teachers ever. If us on level kids are struggling, then how does it make sense to give us bad teachers? I would KILL to have Mrs. Hicks or Mrs. Hylinski... but I am apparently too stupid to have good teachers? Everything about social issues in this school are WORTHLESS to put in these reviews. It is called middle school, you are going to have to deal with these type of things. If you do not want your child to get bullied, or to have drama then you are better off homeschooling them. Nobody is going to send their child to a different school because of problems every middle school child has to deal with. Anyways, I would not say this is a complete hell hole of a school, but there are certain things that bother me about it.

I attend this school as a student and do not have any of the problems that other students seem to be experiencing. Yes, the bathrooms can be dirty at times, but they are at least not repulsive. The food is just like any other school. It's school food. It's not gonna be amazing. At least it's edible. The students at this school are amazing and kind. For a middle school, I think this school is above average.

It's okay. But I can't eat the food cause it doesn't look appetizing to me. But I guess the teachers are fine. But I don't like most of them cause they don't know how to teach us very well. Hey, I don't blame them they have to teach about 80- 100 kids a day and that's 80-100 papers to grade about every night. And they don't get payed much either. But, the laptops aren't very good I suggest to give them to people that actually NEED them. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that I get to have an education. But kids over there are rude. And racist to. I'm just putting an honest opinion. No hate. Don't take this personal.!

I am a attend Taylor Road, and it's pretty much an ordinary school. Most kids like the school. The education is great. There are a few mean teachers, and some old ones, too, but all schools have a mean, old teacher. We have a great orchestra program, and the band kids love class. There are a lot of good programs, and we have a wide variety of cultures and people. There are a few bullies here and there, but everyone has a friend. It's pretty much your ordinary school.

It's been three years at this campus, and I really like it. The place looks legit after the SPLOST renovation group renovated the school. I have some advantages and disadvantages to tell you about. Advantages: This place feels like family. We've got really great teachers here. For example, Mr. Aiken. We have plenty of clubs available for you that is friendly for all. This school also has a great education for children who have disabilities, and students who have special needs too ask me, I know it's true. Got some good counselors, and administration, and four amazing principals to trust. Really good connection classes, and core classes. I will like to congratulate the Fulton County Board of Education, and our administration to hand these awesome Dell Latitude 3150 laptops to promote education for years to come, and let's give them a hand! Disadvantages: The cafeteria food no offense tastes like 90 percent food, and 10 percent...idk. the bathrooms especially the boys are disgusting with a capital "D." most of the people never flush the toilets in the boys bathrooms, and they put random stuff in there sometimes remember that incident in the 800 boys bathroom that day.... We have a giant pecking order that I cannot describe, but we need to fix that, seriously. most of the students mostly boys cuss 24/7, and I'm tired of saying, "WATCH YOUR PROFANITY!!!" We need to fix the profanity problem as well. Most students are saying mean things to most of our teachers. For example I have reported to my homeroom teacher because someone has written, "F*** the teacher i am not going to mention names. in the @$$!" It's true, ask me all about it. These are the advantages, and disadvantages of Taylor Road Middle School. I am happy to point these advantages, and we will strive to make more advantages of this campus for years to come. I am sorry to point these disadvantages, but don't worry, we will work together as a well oiled machine to fix these problems, and we will work hard to make Taylor Road Middle School really strive for excellence, no excuses. People who reviews this are mostly students who don't do well in school. They have not seen much comparison between other schools since they probably grew up here. I would say this school is okay. Administrators, teachers, social workers, and counselors are all trying to make the school a better place There are even Senior Leaders Which I was in, but left who check the bathrooms. Students posting their 1 star reviews are just really all looking to the dark side of the things. Come on, there are lots good things of the school! I could not ask more of the workers at this school. Yes, there is racism, but it's like it doesn't exist elsewhere? Stop randomly posting these one-star review for weirdly specific reasons! I liked the counselors a lot. P.S. But.... The students are the ones making the others mad. Bathroom dirty and filled with profanity? That's definitely true; which is why I never use public bathroom. Lunch is truthfully bad, I cannot say I like it at all - but what do you expect out of a PUBLIC SCHOOL? Why are your expectations so high?

This school deserves about three stars. The cafeteria food is not the best , the classes are boring, and the teachers love to stack up work before break. The only fun times I have at this school are P.E and lunch and that's because I get to chill with my friends. This school isn't the best school, but it's pretty decent.I just hate having to do test on VHLCentral, Ms. Andres . I mean it's school am I supposed to like it.

First off all of these rumors of the food being horrible are wrong I actually prefer school lunch and if you don't like it then take a lunch from home sometimes it's cheaper. Then the teachers are really nice if you don't act like a idiot half the time. some of them have sort tempers but some times I wish the teachers would be more strick on the students who act dumb and interrupt class sometimes its funny but it starts to go too far when they start locking the teacher out of his own classroom. The main thing i don't like in this school is this generation of students. their racist, rude, ignorant, and annoying.

Well, this school deserves a good 3 stars. Ive been here since I was in 6th grade. Ive had good and bad experiences here. The school has pretty good teachers and some people are nice. They also give out a decent amount of homework ig. It’s not a terrible school, but it’s not the best either. The bathrooms obviously NEVER get cleaned and there r so many broken stalls that it’s pretty ridiculous. Bullying here is the main problem here at this school. There’s always someone bringing other people down, but ik that’s just life. The things are still hurtful to others and people REALLY need to learn the difference between a “joke” and just being down right rude. It’s actually annoying. But the teachers r pretty nice and do a pretty good job educating u. There’s also nice people, so not ALL people here r mean. Like I said this isn’t the BEST school, but it’s alright.

It's a pretty alright school. But some of the teachers are straight up mean.Not strict, mean.Like talking about students behind their backs to entire classes, mean. By the way I'm talking you can tell this happened to me and some of my friends. The students are nice. Some kids are annoying but they still aren't that bad. One of the teachers even told a student to go die apparently... not gonna give out names cause they might read this. If your kid has a choice between this school or Webb Bridge. Choose Webb Bridge 100%. The students are pretty welcoming though, but thats the schools only redeeming quality.
