This library is great for studying! It's so much quieter than other county libraries, and they have a perfect quiet study area that's separated from the rest of the library. It's also a clean and beautiful facility.
Clean, comfortable, a decent place for studying. I give 4 star simply because I’m a tall guy…their desk and chair are too small for me….
When I got my library card, it was so simple and quick! They they books that I wanted with a variety of more! Wonderful place.
My kids are very happy the library has opened back up. They love checking out books, participating in activities, doing scavenger hunts, and take home crafts. The library is clean and well organized too. We love doing the telescope checkouts. We’ve taken advantage of the free week long checkout several times. Right now they also have take home Earth Day kits too!
This library is a perfect place to introduce people to reading. Plenty of activities for children and adults alike! There's even a chinchilla that's the most adorable thing ever! Book selection is wide and the employees are always willing to help! Great library
Great library. I've never been a huge fan of the architectural design. You park in the rear and then walk around to an entrance. They have nice book drop off in front. And during peak COVID season it was easy to pick up books. The space inside is entirely used. Very functionally. I absolutely love the system for holds and book transfers. I use my app on my phone and request books from all over the county and the books usually arrive in less than a week. Checkout is a piece of cake. In fact, sometimes I wonder what the staff even do since it is so automated now. The only time we deal with staff is when my kids trash a book and we have to go apologize and pay for it...
Great place, getting a library card was very simple and every person at the library was very helpful in aiding us obtain the knowledge we needed to sign up for a card. On a second note, The fact that they are impingementing telescopes for the kids is brilliant in so many ways. Love this place already and we have only been here once.
Went to the Taylorsville Library today to get my Utah library card. I was very impressed with the pleasantness of the staff De was awesome to help me find a couple of books and to get my card I can't remember the front desk lady's name but she was so helpful and nice too. I am totally satisfied with the service. Even though the selection isn't that great, you can always request a book to be sent to that library!
This is a good library. I take my kids and there are no troubles. Good staff members and it's easy to find books, the book hold system works well. Overall its clean and a dependable place to get what you are looking for.
This library is more modern newer looking than the valley fair mall library. slightly smaller excellent library. This library Is not a gigantic museum library like downtown salt lake city library though. Out of all the smaller libraries this is one of my favorite
