A large and well maintained park. Also very scenic along The Great Miami River. The trails were in good condition and I enjoyed the trails around the dam very much.
It's beautiful. You see unique flora to the area. The river is beautiful. It's rarely crowded. The east park is my favorite for hiking. Update as of 2022. Still great. Beware of an abundance of poison ivy along the trails though.
Great metro park dam there is an old town with only bridges left still nice area
Ohio has beautiful parks. Please help keep it that way by NOT littering!
Really nice trails. I would consider them moderate only slight elevation change. Some cool stuff along the trails which make it fun. Also the trails border a nice little river which our dog was a big fan of. If your going to walk the whole thing be prepared for about 5-6 miles so water and snacks are a must!
This is an interesting place to visit. I like the dam and they have places where you can put a canoe into the river. There are some nice shelter houses and hiking trails. I did not see any play grounds. People like to fish in the river. The ponds near the river could be developed more, but I guess they provide a very natural setting for wildlife.
My dog loved walking the paths. The covered picnic areas looked well set up with benches along the outside and plenty of picnic tables and a grill too
I love the scenery and the trails at this park!
Gorgeous little place with several trails, one that even leads to another park down the road! Taylorsville is just a great to go for anything. It has 3 shelters as well as wild life viewing zones. It's also a decently secluded park, so if you need some alone time it's not a bad place to go.
Beautiful paved bike ams walk path as well as wooded natural paths. Picnic area and water view of the damn. The area has many different kinds of wild flowers and gorgeous old trees. And the ruins of the city Tadmor can be explored! Wonderful park!
