Having to come into an emergency room is no fun. I did get good care while there. The nurses were thorough and the CT/X-ray Department were very nice.My only complaint is that I had to sit next to a woman that knew she had Covid in the waiting area as well as in the back treatment area. Thank goodness for masks.
The entire staff was fantastic. They were extremely thorough and ran tests a couple times to make sure their diagnosis was correct. They took me right away and ran tests, and then it was very crowded so after the tests were completed there was a little wait, but they were constantly checking blood pressure, and taking more tests throughout. The kindness of the staff was incredible. It was a packed emergency room, but they treated each person very special and showed a lot of caring.Highly recommend!
Check in was easy, they kept us informed as to when we would be called back. They did x rays in a timely matter, someone came out and read us the X-rays- the only reason for 4 stars over 5 was the discharge took forever- which was weird because that to me seemed the easiest part of the whole thing? But definitely had a good experience from start to finish!
It’s been a long time since I’ve had to stay in a hospital and I don’t recall it being a memorable experience. Everything about my stay at Temecula Valley Hospital exceeded what I would have imagined in a hospital stay. Everyone who I encountered was kind and made me feel like my concerns and level of care mattered to them. I observed the thoughtfulness in the interaction between the people who worked at the hospital and other patients in the same area. I’d love the opportunity to say thank you to everyone who had a part in my stay and treated me like an individual.
This was the most pleasant trip to an ER ever. I broke my ankle on a Sunday. The entire experience was just over 2 hours. The staff was professional and polite. Thanks!
Arrived at the hospital for a diagnostic angiogram. the check-in and registration went very smoothly. Was promptly taken into a room where I was prepped for the procedure. Nurse Tracy was friendly and very helpful. The experience in the Cardiac Cather lab was excellent The staff there was very friendly and professional. Even asked me what kind of music I liked to listen to. They did everything to relax me and make the procedure go as easy as possible. My cardiologist was very good about explaining what he was doing during the procedure. Afterwords he explained the results to my wife and me and answered all our questions. The discharge instructions were made very clear and the process went very well. An overall pleasant experience for what it was.
I feel I am in good hands if I ever had to come here or my daughter or family member needed to be seen here in the ER again. I hope the integrity and work ethic of this hospital continues to stay in good shape. Working at a hospital is a very sacred and important job. I hope all working here have pride in knowing Temecula and surrounding areas rely on them doing a great job. Thank you!
While the internal medicine doctor who evaluated me was very kind and thorough, as were the x-ray and CAT scan technicians, I feel your intake and discharge personnel need some reminders or coaching. One had her mask barely over her face and was fine yet abrupt, and I waited 2 1/2 hours to be discharged after being given a painkiller and told by the doctor to go home and rest . We checked twice and were told they were working on my discharge. After becoming quite uncomfortable and frustrated, I politely asked why I was still sitting there almost 3 hours after discharge - the two personnel at the front said something to one another that sounded like “it looks like she is another one who fell off the screen”. There was no apology for the wait, they just gave him my discharge instructions and sent me on my way. The emergency room is never an enjoyable place to be for several hours especially when you are in pain, but this could’ve been handled much more graciously and with some compassion.
My first experience here was this past Friday. They very nice and welcoming. Especially the intake nurse Karen. They accommodated me by turning off the light in the room as my eyes were extremely sensitive to light. I was pleased with the overall amount of time I spent there, not ridiculously long.
