Temple University is one of seven accredited Seasonal Law Enforcement Academies in the Country.
Temple University Criminal Justice Training Programs offers law enforcement training for all types of law enforcement agencies, officers, and those who wish to become law enforcement officers. The academy conducts a Municipal Police Officer Basic Academy as well as a MPOETC waiver class for those who are eligible. Temple University is one of seven accredited Seasonal Law Enforcement Training Programs across the country and the only one located in the Northeast. The department also provides basic training and continuing education for Constables and continuing education for Deputy Sheriffs.
