My mother used to work here when she was in the United States for college. When I came, I had an overall amazing experience. Mr Chu is knows his way around the kitchen and the food is very good. If your coming here, come around 10am - 3pm. Those are the best timings for food. The buffet was pretty good actually. I liked the general zhou’s chicken and recommend the fried rice. 5 stars for me
Do not recommend. Came here at 1 pm for their lunch buffet and the whole buffet was empty. Four crab Rangoon’s left, no chicken. Server claimed they were running low since their buffet closed at 2 pm, but you’d think they would keep it somewhat filled for the next hour. Tables were clean, but the floors were disgusting. Most of their lights were burnt out. Go elsewhere. Do not waste your money here.
My boyfriend and I went here for lunch. They no longer serve sushi which is why I wanted to go in the first place. We got the Chicken Lo Mein and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Both were very good. The service was also good. Food came out in good time and waitress checked in with us regularly. The table we were seated at was tacky and we saw a pile of cigarettes outside the door. 3 stars - good food and service, questionable cleanliness, disappointed in lack of sushi.
Food is decent for the cost. I like their Sukiyaki Vegetable with rice noodles I get it with crispy tofu on the side. My husband likes their sweet and sour pork. There is an older gentleman that works there, he's a bit abrasive but other people on staff are nice.
It wasn't busy when we arrived. The buffet looked picked over and not fresh so we ordered off the menu. The lunch was tasty and ample enough to be a good value for the price. The music was turned on just as our meal was finished. The lights weren't all on so we hadn't been sure they were open. We enjoyed our food and had leftovers to take with us. The dining area was unkept with boxes of product barely shielded behind screens giving the business an air of neglect. The food was good enough to put up with the clutter but some care would bring this up to a better experience.
I will always love this place and have yet to find a place that can come close for me! I really kid you not! The style and taste of food can’t be beat and I have tried to find anyone that could consistently come close to the quality and flavor. In my opinion the cost of the food is very cheap for what you get which is delicious gourmet food. Mr. Chu knows flavor and he is a top chef! I miss this place and go whenever I’m in Wisconsin!
Finally decided to try it and the best part was my fortune in my fortune cookie and the lady host was nice. Outside of that the buffet was by far the worst I've ever gone to. The food looked like it had been sitting there for too long, in the 30-40 min we were there I didn't see them bring any food out to freshen the buffet at all, and out of everything I tried it was either too overdone/ sat too long and there was absolutely no flavor to anything. OH... and let's not forget the 50 it costed for 3 people. Normally I would give it another shot but for how bad the experience was and for how expensive it was I will never go back or recommend anyone try this place.
Fantastic. Just ate here with my boyfriend, and we opted for the buffet you can also order from their menu, and from what I saw of another couple who did, the portions are GIGANTIC. Between us we tried just about everything on the buffet, and everything we had was extremely well made, and tasted fantastic. Other reviews have mentioned filth in the restaurant, and we did not see any. In fact the table and the buffet were immaculate, all the silverware was very clean, and all the plates were nice and white and clean as well. The buffet is relatively small, but everything on it is so well done that the small size is completely compensated. In a nutshell, the restaurant was clean, the food was fantastic, fresh, and flavorful, service was great, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Just stopped on our way to the Northwoods. Excellent, delicious Chinese and Japanese food. We ordered a mix of the 2. I loved their shrimp tempura rolls. Service was very good. The owner even came out to check on us! We’ll be back.
I order from here frequently. Spending on average $60 or more a week. Unfortunately the quality and overcooked chicken and pork were so tough, we could not eat it. I ordered 4 egg rolls. Non were delivered. My last order was over $45. It's the last money they will ever see me. So disappointed !
