A native of Spartanburg, SC, Kenneth has had a tennis racquet in his hand, almost literally, since the tender age of five. His South Carolina junior tennis career comprised of several top ten finishes in boys’ singles, a state clay court championship, two runner-up finishes in the state clay and hard court championships, respectively, and a state championship in boys’ doubles. Kenneth competed in the Southern Closed Championships, a collection of roughly the top 132 juniors in the Southern States, twice, while one year finishing in the top 24.
In 2005, Kenneth graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the College of Charleston. He was from 2009-2011 a highly regarded tennis teaching professional at the Forest Lake Club in Columbia, SC. Kenneth is a former assistant coach of the Limestone College Saints men’s’ and women’s tennis teams and assistant tennis professional at the Country Club of Spartanburg. He has worked with a wide range of ages and skill levels, in both private and group settings, and strives to instill in his students sportsmanship, sound tennis fundamentals and, most importantly, a tough mental game.
