Terra Vista Animal Hospital is a full service AAHA accredited practice, with four experienced veternarians and 15 friendly staff members. Our goal is to provide your pet with the highest quality medical care.

Description

Welcome to Terra Vista Animal Hospital. We are a four doctor, full-service small animal hospital serving Rancho Cucamonga and the Inland Empire since 1994. Our doctors and staff are committed to providing compassionate, affordable, personalized care for all of our clients and their pets.

We provide care for dogs and cats, as well as ferrets, rabbits, reptiles, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice and rats. Medical, dental, surgical, diagnostic and microchip services are all available on site.

Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage you to call ahead for an appointment.



"Welcome to Terra Vista Animal Hospital, an American Animal Hospital Association AAHA accredited practice. Dr. Mike Weigand opened Terra Vista Animal Hospital in 1994, and he and the doctors and staff have remained committed to providing compassionate care for all clients and their pets. We care for dogs and cats, as well as some small mammals and reptiles. Medical, dental, surgical and microchip services are all available on-site. Diagnostic services include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory. We encourage you to call for an appointment whenever possible, but we’ll fit you in if your pet’s condition can’t wait. We are currently open 6 days a week."

Thanks to everyone at Terra vista animal hospital. I took my grandma’s puppy Rex in an emergency. After being stabilized he was transferred over to a 24 animal hospital. I received a phone call from Terra vista, asking how Rex was doing at that time he was still on oxygen therapy. Unfortunately Rex passed on a couple days later. We received a condolences card from Terra vista, signed by their team. It was honestly heart warming that they took time to send their sympathies even though he had already been sent somewhere else. They truly care about their patients.
To the staff of Terra Vista. THANK YOU! I had to make the tough decision on May 16th 2023. They are nothing but the best here. I do not know how they do it watching hearts break everyday but at Terra Vista they can actually mend them as well. In life we all want to be in good hands, So put your beloved animal in the best hands. Once again Thank you.
I came to this hospital because my fur baby needed a dental procedure. The staff was super friendly and really made me feel better and assured that everything would be okay. After her procedure they continued to call to check up on her. They also adored her and I just have to say I really like this hospital. They are very affordable as well
We have 3 Irish Terriers that have always been treated with respect & the best care possible by their Primary vet Dr May & by all the other vets on staff when she wasn’t available. I highly recommend this clinic to all pet owners.
This place is amazing. From the doctors to the staff. Have taken my dogs here for regular check ups and surgeries and I am 100% confortable leaving them here for service. Always friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They treat my pups with tender loving care, as if they were their own.
It was our RV mechanic who recommended Terra Vista Animal Hospital/vets. Thank God. The prior two vets we used did not interact well with people and were extremely expensive. They always urged expensive procedures, etc. Terra Vista's vets and all other personnel are amazing. They care for your pets as well as you in relation to your pets needs. They are friendly, caring professionals who go the extra mile in caring for your fur babies and their fees are reasonable. They offer discounts for Senior citizens and have a generous loyalty reward program too. Everyone we have referred to Terra Vista loves them too. UPDATE: No longer offers loyalty reward program.
They have their good qualities and they have some really bad ones. One in particular being, if your animal has an allergic reacting or gets sick from the medicine they prescribed, you cannot be seen without paying for everything all over again even though it's not your fault their medicine is making my dog sick. I wasn't offered a discount. I wasn't offered a comp on medicine or even medicine to make her better. I was simply told to return to the hospital and they will charge me full price for everything all over again. So they $400 I already spent was for nothing. Not only is the original problem not fixed but now my dog looks like she is dying. This hospital is money hungry and they prey on the people less fortunate than others. They take advantage of sick and dying pets so they can drive fancy cars and live in big houses.
The Doctor and Staff here were absolutely amazing. Our pets are family and they took care of mine as if she was their own. Thank you for the great service and care.
This was my first time at Terra Vista Animal Hospital. This was a last minute appointment which they so graciously made the day before. All the other local vets were booked up for a long time and we couldn't get an appointment with any of them. Since it is during the time of the Coronavirus lockdown, they had to come out to the car to get my pet. I didn't have to wait long because they were very quick in coming out to get the dog, I was dog sitting. They were also very nice and very helpful. There is also a convenient doggy potty area right there in the parking lot.
If you want a Veterinarian Office that cares about you and your pet this is the place to come. Excellent medical treatment. Great Customer Service and fair pricing. You will not feel like you are just an opportunity to get as much money out of you as possible. They are caring and kind and explain everything to you and communicate with you. They work to get you in for an appointment or urgent care and don't make you wait weeks or hours. I wish I would have known about them when I first moved here, but I didn't and now I will never go anywhere else again.
