My wife and I go here regularly for $5 Tuesday movie deals. The theater is great for several reasons. It’s small, not flashy, good tuesday and afternoon deals. Never too crowded and just a nice simple theater with friendly staff. If you want to spend more to go to a newer bigger theater, not the one for you
Really a great "Lil" local theater. It's always clean, well-staffed and has a great selection of new movies. They have a membership and I always seem to have savings. The seating is comfortable and the theaters are not huge area; which really reduces noise and other nonsense. We don't go to the movies often, because of the streaming options. But when we do, we enjoy going to Starlight Terrace.
Great little spot! Aleays a good selection of movies offered, clean venue, well staffed. I love the perks for Starlight members and the affordable tickets and snacks. I don't know how they do it, but it means that other big theaters can learn a whole lot from this business
I bring my clients here all the time. The food isn’t the best, so stick to the regular snacks like popcorn, candy and soda. Other than that, staff is super nice, the theater is clean and I’ve never had an issue with the bathrooms which is a big deal for me.
The theater reminded me of old, classic movie theaters. I felt like I stepped back in time and it was awesome. It's def not like the bigger chain theaters i.e. Cinemark, AMC, Edwards, Arclight, etc. it was the theater from like the 80's, or 90's. It was very nostalgic. Found this theater on Groupon and the deal covers tickets for 2 plus a free large popcorn like the tub of popcorn, so make sure you buy a big drink to avoid getting parched during the movie. Lol. The theater attendants were friendly and helpful. The theaters were smaller but still big enough to enjoy a nice movie with the fam or friends. They theater was clean and didn't smell at all. The unique addition to this theater is that it's located on the 3rd level of a plaza/center, and the view from the parking lot, where you can see torrance, san pedro, long beach is breathtaking; hence prob why they call it Starlight Terrace Theaters. Lovely theater all around. Will def be going back again.
I’ve had very pleasant experiences coming here for their matinee showings, friendly & helpful staff, clean restrooms and theaters. Will be coming back next time I’m in the area
Underrated hidden gem of a movie theater. Great prices and the rooms don't seem to get as packed.
It’s an ok movie theater, if you don’t want to get out of the area. Most of the times, it’s not very clean and the lines for getting snacks take forever… I would recommend arriving earlier than the showtime. They have many deals for getting cheaper tickets.
Great theater with comfy seats they dont recline but lean back....screen size is decent.
Fair prices and good atmosphere. As Always, the prices for drinks and popcorn are excessive.
