Came here for lunch, the service was incredibly lacking. No one was up in front and the waitresses and waiters were visibly uninterested. We had to wait and speak to the people multiple time to get seated. The people were lacking in attitude. We had to ask for ordering, our drinks, and checks. Yo the point where I think they felt bad for forgetting that we got our drinks for free. The food was mediocre. The best thing there was the bread with raspberry butter. It was soft and fluffy and the butter was delicious. Everything else was simply lackluster. The ribs were dry and lacked any flavoring whatsoever. The potatoes that came with it were burnt. The fritters didn’t have enough sauce and weren’t crispy. However, the drinks were really good and excelled expectations. I am typically not a fan of floral or coconut, but their lavender latte and coconut latte both exceeded expectations. They were smooth and light and the added on flavors were not overpowering but added as a complimentary. The atmosphere was great though. The greenhouse look was really enjoyable with soft music playing background. The plants looked great and it was a nice break from the summer heat. Really good for pictures and conversation. Not so good for a good meal.
Terrain Cafe is one of the more romantic restaurants in the area. The sitting area has lots of decorative plants adorning and there is no obnoxious music playing, allowing for great conversations. The menu is always delicious and Terrain is one of the few places that delivers free bread with every meal. What's even better is their creative seasonal butters. We had hibiscus butter and it was alone worth the trip. Great date night spot! Parking: Lots of parking spots.
The most beautiful restaurant! We loved the greenhouse-like space with open windows everywhere and greenery all around. Food and drinks were delicious, we loved use of local ingredients and the creativity in the drinks. We came for a birthday and they do have a $2 per person cake cutting fee, but we would definitely venture here again.
As a wedding photographer who's had the pleasure of covering events at Terrain, I can't help but rave about this place! It's an absolute stunner - a modern venue with lots of botanical garden vibes that takes your breath away. The surroundings are unforgettable, and the food? Oh, it's simply brilliant! Your guests won't stop talking about it. If you're after something way beyond the ordinary, Terrain is your spot. :
This place is beautiful! The atmosphere is great and the services is so nice. Each staff member took thier time our to great my 4month baby. The fresh bread was delicious and tn He poppy lemon salted butter was so good. I had briased short rib with 2 over easy eggs. What a delectable meal. If I weren't also with the baby I'd take more pics.
The service was very slow, and all the foods, although beautifully garnished, lacked any flavor and taste. We pretty much enjoyed the decorations and the restaurant vibes.Food: 3/5
We had a great time at Terrain and the food and our waitress Rita were amazing! I ordered the cauliflower sandwich which was so good along with some truffle fries. I’d definitely come back again with some friends and I love the ambience.Food: 5/5
10/10 food, service & ambience. Shout out to Susana! I ordered the beet & burrata salad with salmon it was so delicious! Definitely the cutest place on the mainline! This place is great for any occasion whether a private event, a brunch with the girls or a date night. I will most definitely be back again soon!!!!Recommended dishesArtisanal Cheese Board, Flower Pot Bread with Seasonal Butter
Overall had a good brunch experience at Terrain Cafe. Service was congenial throughout and decorations were very well done. In terms of food, I feel like the menu could have been more varied but there should be at least one option for most people. Cocktails were a nice option to see, although beer is in a can and not draft. I will say I think prices were a bit high, however I would come back for another brunch next time I'm in the area.
Writing this while at the table ... we celebrated our one year anniversary and had a lovely time. Our server David was phenomenal. It makes all the difference when you have someone who loves their job and is very good at it. I highly recommend the food, service and ambiance.
