The Terrell County Library is located in southeast Dawson on Forrester Drive (Georgia Highway 82/520) directly behind Hardee's restaurant.
The Terrell County Public Library seeks to meet the library needs (educational, cultural, informational, and recreational) of most of the area's residents in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible.
Its primary role is to provide current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a variety of formats for persons of all ages.
It has identified one secondary role: to provide supplemental support to all students at the primary and secondary school levels.
