The Texarkana-Bowie County Family Health Center is a local Health Department concerned with programs and policies dedicated to the protection of the health and general welfare of the citizens of the City of Texarkana, Texas and Bowie County.
Our vision is to make every possible effort to provide a safe and healthy community for our citizens. We feel that prevention is the key to the future. We wish to work toward shifting the focus of health care from treating illnesses to a system that promotes, maintains, and improves health. Be developing partnerships, coalitions, and workgroups throughout the county, we will be able to develop programs to address specific problems and achieve our goals. We will aggressively seek all possible funding sources in order to provide the level of care needed by our clients.
