University Voices is a volunteer-based choral group that represents Texas A&M University-San Antonio.
The group consists of volunteer membership with each member giving of his/her time and dedication during the current semester and participates in multiple concert performances. Past venues included The Foundation “Dream Maker Gala” Banquet, at the Shrine Auditorium, the Ring Ceremony, the Ribbon Cutting/Veteran’s Day ceremonies, the Student Life Leadership Banquet Concert, the President’s Staff Holiday Concert Events, Faculty & Staff Convocation, the Delta Mu Delta Honor Society Induction and the MBA/MPA Graduate Hooding Ceremonies. University Voices is the primary musical support group for all Commencement ceremonies for Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Eligible membership consists of current students and alumni, of Texas A&M University, San Antonio, faculty and staff members of the university, and the spouses and children (15 years of age and up), of current members.
The purpose and goals of the University Voices choral group are:
1. To enhance the morale of Texas A&M University-San Antonio through musical presentations as deemed appropriate by the University Voices musical directors and the University President.
2. To provide opportunities for personal and musical development.
3. To provide opportunities for networking.
4. To provide musical support and group activities to serve the university and community, thus enhancing public relations.
