Very helpful personnel. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the process for getting a permit for my son and next steps. They helped us setup an appointment for next time and then when we went back for the appointment, everything went smoothly. We signed in, they reviewed that we had all necessary and correct forms and documents and we were done within 15 minutes. Very kind and professional help.

Lack of empathy towards elderly people. No pleasantries no good morning. Clerk spent 40 minutes typing away with an expressionless face to let us know in the end she couldn't process the application for city changes in address.

If I can give a negative star I would. Instead of hearing people out. They like to cut you off and not help out. I started going to Weslaco cause their service is a 1,0000 percent better than Harlingen. They are lot cleaner too.

Thank you so much for the incredibly accommodating and friendly service!  George Rodriguez made it as easy as possible for my severely walking disabled mother to get a new license.  He really went above and beyond.

They have an extremely rude woman at the front "greeting" people. I brought in a small water bottle as I assumed there would be a wait. This woman snapped at me several times that I needed to take it outside, throw it away, or put it in my bag while also chastising me for not filling out the forms. I'm sorry I don't live at the DMV and don't know where everything is. I haven't been here since 2016.  Perhaps they should have a sign on the door, indicating that no drinks are allowed so this woman's blood pressure can stay low.

Earlier this week I made the appointment to renew my license and it was set for 4 pm today. Got there 30 minutes before like it says to. Well I'll couldn't believe it no sooner did I sit down to wait, they called my # and was out before 4! Christmas come early.

Was already on the office and had to schedule an appointment for next week. Entering the parkway was already a pain no entrance been like that for weeks . Now I have to wait till next week for my appointment it would be you just sign in and went in no bs. Worse DPS in the nation.

The women there need to get a better attitude. The men are so much nicer. One of the ladies there was screaming at customer cause she didn't have the application done. But the customer was just confused, she thought the application was done online. Instead of redirrecting her nicely she screamed it out to her.  Do better people. The lady that attended me looked like if she didn't even wanna be there had a bad attitude but she still helped me out that's why the 3 star. Didn't want to but still did lol

Very disorganized place. Lady at the front very rude. She expects you to know everything without explaining anything to you. The seats are facing the main door not the stations and if your sitting in the front definitely won’t see the stations numbered. Plus, the picture backdrop blocks the station number. However, the lady at the front got bent out of shape for having to tell me where to go. Treat people the way you want to be treated.

Helpful just make sure you got all your documents very professional and they spoke English big plus lol
