Why is TxHIMA on Facebook?
The TxHIMA Facebook page lets us share some of the TxHIMA experience and provides another forum for HIM professionals to network with and learn from one another. Here, you can share questions, experiences, and comments about HIM, and we can let you know about events and resources that you may find useful in your career and educational pursuits.
TxHIMA welcomes all view points and encourages discussions. Please use your discretion when posting comments, photos, etc. to the TxHIMA Facebook page. This is a professional page created to help you learn and network with your peers. Comments and photos that are deemed inappropriate for professional networking will be removed.
We ask that you keep the conversation civil and abide by the following guidelines:
• Posts should be on topic and conversational. No trolling please.
• Job posting should not be posted in the TxHIMA Facebook Page. If you are looking for a job or would like to post a job please utilize our Career Assist: Job Bank. Job postings will be deleted from the discussion board
• TxHIMA will delete post that contain, personal attacks of any kind, unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, libelous, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, obscene or otherwise rude content that we deem to be in poor taste.
• Please do not post comments that contain personal information about others such as home addresses and personal phone numbers.
TxHIMA reserves the right to remove any post or to revoke a user's privilege to post to our page. Comments found to be in conflict with the guidelines above will be removed.

What if I don't want TxHIMA or TxHIMA page fans to see my profile?
TxHIMA respects your privacy. Joining the TxHIMA Facebook page does not allow anyone to see your profile who didn't already have access to it. Only page members who are your friends or members of one of your networks will be able to see your details. You can modify your privacy settings at any time in order to limit the individuals and networks that can view your profile. Clicking "Privacy" on the top right navigation menu of any Facebook page brings up your privacy settings. Here, you can limit part or all of your profile.
