The hospital, nurses, and staff provided my daughter with excellent care. Doctor Chen performed an emergency surgery to remove my daughter's appendix. Doctor Chen made sure I was aware of the process and procedure the entire time. The nurses on floor five were very caring and were happy to assist with all of my daughter's needs. During her surgery, Doctor Chen discovered additional health issues we are currently addressing. It was very easy to schedule my daughter's follow-up appointment with Doctor Chen.
This is very very good hospital, my wife has our baby in this hospital, the doctor ASIS THE BEST Doctor, and The nursing team was very kind and professional and took good care of my baby.
My first attempt at writing a review was to long to post so here is the short version. Maybe someone will see this and contact me. I was brought to your ER from my primary care Physicians office. After triage I was taken to a room where I got all the monitors, bp cuff, an IV, a short visit from the Dr, some x=rays and a visit from the billing department I was basically left in the room with the door closed. I rang the call button 3 times during the next 2 hours I struggled to get to the end of my bed to get some relief from cramps in my back and finally I removed the monitor leads pulled the IV from my arm and walked myself out of your hospital. I may be old and disabled but I am not senile. I felt that my well being was not high on the priority list and was treated poorly. You need to do better. To relieve you of your beliefs beforehand I was nice to everyone there. I was never rude, I was never loud and I never disrespected anyone at your facility sadly I reel it was not reciprocated.
Me and my wife were very great full for all the excellent medical staff and Dr. Puentes did an amazing job delivering our baby boy. The women center is still brand new and it feels like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. Definitely recommend you schedule your next delivery here, we will.
My dad went to the ER last Wednesday with what we thought was a stroke. They admitted him for observation. The first night was awful because they tried 3x to get a NG tube in him. It took 3 nurses before it was done. After 2 days he started complaining of his hand area hurting. It started to swell, have heat and turn red. It was horribly painful for him. The hospitalist decided to an X-ray thinking he might have fallen. Then I asked to check for a blood clot. Never once did they mention staph. By the time he discharged on Saturday, his other hand started doing the same thing. He was on heavy pain medication to combat the pain. It took the nurse at the assisted living facility to tell us what he was really dealing with. It was staph. Another resident who had been at the hospital came back with the same thing!! There was only one nurse there that seemed to be on top of things for my dad. He even said - “you can tell who the professionals are.” Please don’t choose this hospital. Our dad went on hospice when he came home and passed away on Thursday. I was not impressed with the care he received or the doctors who dropped by to check him. Head to a different Facility if you can! And stay with your loved ones if they get admitted!!
First and last time Ill go here. Split my leg open and rushed to Health Presby Denton because it was the closest ER. They weren't visibly busy and only 2-3 patients in ER. Took 10-15 mins to get a bed and the nurses weren't in any rush to help. They tried to remove my gauze I had wrapped my leg in and their shears were dull. They laughed about how they just need to replace them. Seriously, this is an ER and the nurses don't have the basic equipment!!!!! I was horrified. I then waited 30-40 minutes for the nurse to return to give me stitches...2 weeks later the nurse removed my stitches and left two in. I had to painfully pull them myself. Absolute circus of inept people.
It was an excellent and useful experience for me and my wife. She gave birth to my son there. The staff are friendly and wonderful, especially the nurse. Her name is Abby. She was friendly and wonderful. Her service in her work is more than excellent. I wish her success and success always. I recommend visiting
Amanda in the ICU was the best nurse my dad had after his stroke this last week! She was personable, intentive to the car he needed to get back on his feet & so kind!
Came in experiencing nausea and vomiting 8 weeks pregnant I suspected I had HG due to the severity of my sickness.. and had over 5 nurses/doctors come in to ask questions only to be let go after two hours. Received no medicine and no IV. Went to a different hospital and was diagnosed with HG.
Wow, Barbie with the huge fake lips and fake tan shoulder length dark brown curly permed hair in the ER is extremely rude to elderly people. Watching her in action is heartbreaking. I’m a retired nurse and worked in the ER, there’s no need to be so attackive and hateful to the elderly. Kindness doesn’t cost a damn thing. I used to brag about Presby, no more. I’ll advise people to use the other hospital.
