The Art School is an unconventional classroom environment, where students of all ages and skill levels can develop their artistic abilities.
We are an independent school of the visual arts, founded and operated by professional artists in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood. The unique approach to art instruction that sets us apart from most educational institutions focuses on the specific goals and skill level of each student, allowing for limitless development and exploration of ideas and materials.
A session of classes (for any medium) is priced at $160 for 8 weeks, with 2 hours of instruction per class. Students may sign up any time and the individual session will run for 8 classes from that starting date. (If needed, students are allowed up to 2 make-up classes per 8 week session.) Consecutive session enrollment is welcome and encouraged, to allow for continual pursuit of developing interests. The option is also available for students to sign up for one class at a time, priced at $25 per class.
The studio facilities at The Art School have been crafted to cultivate the seed of potential in every creative mind, and we enthusiastically invite you to tour our classroom. Tuesdays: 9-11am, 11-1pm, 2-4pm, 7-9pm
Wednesdays: 12-2pm, 2-4pm
Thursdays: 2-4pm, 6:30-8:30pm
Sundays: 8:30-10:30am
