Nationwide, Artists are using charcoal from the Colorado Wildfires to create artwork to sell benefiting the Poudre Canyon Volunteer Fire Protection District.
We would be honored to have you participate in the Ashes to Art Project.
The Ashes to Art Project, founded in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2012, is a way for the creative community to support those who worked to protect the homes, lives and families during the most devastating series of fires in Colorado history.
Artists will donate submissions created with the charcoal created from the fire. An online auction will be held October 7th through the 14th and all proceeds from the sale your art will help fund the financially devastated volunteer fire departments in the burn areas. In addition to the auction, all art will be photographed and a book will be published for sale. Three artists from each state are invited join in the effort.

All mediums will be accepted; we kindly ask you incorporate the charcoal in the piece.
No restrictions on your submissions. 2D and 3D will be accepted.
Submissions are due September 30, 2012.
Please provide your mailing address and charcoal will be on its way to you within one week. Also, please complete the attached release form and include it with your artwork.
