Perfect place for our 50th Anniversary party! The staff were so helpful in planning and they made set up easy. The room was beautiful and everything on our brunch menu was delicious. Can’t wait to come back next time we are in town!

Cute little restaurant. Started off with their flat bread appetizer, very tasty. Then had their gumbo and bisque. Recommend the gumbo over the bisque. I was really excited to get some risotto and was very disappointed in it. Way undercooked! Their fried shrimp was pretty good. Was not too impressed with their pasta dish and the lobster with the surf and turf was very small. I expect better for $200 so not too sure that I would return.

Have been a few times for brunch and the experience every time was superb. While the menu is a little on the pricey side you absolutely get what you pay for. Great food and drinks. Beautiful outdoor seating and the staff were excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

First of all, the bartender has no idea how to make a cocktail. I ordered a cosmopolitan and it was so, so bad, made with vodka and brandy! My fried pork chop over mashed potatoes was $28.00 and the side of risotto was $15.00. The risotto was cold and under cooked, they also don't have salt and pepper shakers, they bring you paper ones like you would get at McDonalds, guess August, the chef, feels insulted if we want to season our food. My service from Remy was excellent, that is the only positive in my experience. My dinner for one, including tip was $91.70!!!!! Completely Outrageous, will never, ever return.

I hosted a bridal shower at the August House. Kayman as well as the rest of the staff were incredible. We had such a great experience. It was my first time ever dealing with them and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and their customer service was excellent. I would 100% recommend them whether you are just grabbing a bite to eat or need to host an event. Mobile’s best little hidden gem!

My wife had me go out with her to a "drag brunch" on Sunday at this place. I wasn't too excited about going, when we got there we met her friend, grabbed drinks and sat outside in the miserable humidity sweating and all were regretting going to this event. Then came the rain, everyone ran for cover but the outstanding customer service didn't stop, 3 young ladies continued to run around in the rain providing 5 star service for everyone. I was sure to tip each one because I was so impressed by their will to do their job up and beyond all expectations. We ended up having a great time considering all odds. I had no food but wife and I will 100% revisit this establishment only because of the amazing customer service provided this particular day.

Waited for an hour Watch our food be given to a white group of 3 who was seated 15min after us. Waited another 15 min. Waitress had no explanation. ........................... Thank you for your response to my review but your details of the situation is highly inaccurate. We was not told of your extremely busyness or the color of the people you were serving. And we absolutely did not insist on being seated. We were told sitting was avaliable in the courtyard and we agreed. There were only two sets of guests in the courtyard. A group of 8-10 young ladies finishing and a couple with a child. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. The young ladies took pictures and left. The 3 individual was seated after the ladies left and a gentleman with 3 cute little girls were seated after them. And actually, I called prior to our arrival and was told you wasn't that busy because we had just left a location that had an hour wait. The waitress was extremely sweet but she didn't have a good explanation why the people across from us seated after us received their food before us. Although, the waitress that served our meal to the other guests was well aware that we were there first because she walked around us several time serving the young ladies before they left.

Went for brunch. The food was great. A touch high for what you receive in regards to spicy honey chicken biscuit and never received a refill on coffee. But ambience and location are wonderful.

Visited for the first time and I feel like I have been missing out. The restaurant is adorable, the service was prompt and friendly and the food was fresh and delicious.
