I like this place, but you have to be one who doesn't worry about the crowd around you. It can become very "interesting" at times. Live music is mostly bluegrass and southern rock. Sometimes strange, sometimes absolutely phenomenal! Good for late night as it's the only thing on Main St. open late!
Excellent music every single night. Open mic night on Thursday, Karyoke on Sunday. Live music at least 5 times per week. Great deals on brews, but also has a some very rare wines that anyone would love. Always chill nights on Mondays with Rudy and then the rest of the week here is hype.
I had such a great time here! The DJ was very good and the staff was incredibly friendly. I definitely wanna go here again. Great drinks mixed drinks are made very well and lots of dancing. I can't wait to go again! This place is good to go to by urself or with a group of ppl.
Went on a Saturday night. Great vibe with folks willing to dance with a DJ playing great dancing music
Nice little local spot. Very casual and laid back. There was a band but we didn't get to hear them play. I'd love to come for karaoke one night!
I visited The Bathtub Gin, and was absolutely disappointed. The atmosphere and vibe were not exciting. My opinion, possibly the most boring bar I've been to. However, I encourage you to visit and form an opinion for yourself. Live music on weekends. No cover to enter, and very affordable drinks.
This is a good place to grab a cold beer when your downtown. However, the bartender's are always playing sad, depressing music. There live music on the weekend is usually really great though.
The bathtub gin is an intimate, warm atmospheric Lounge / bar wrapped up in the middle of downtown Mooresville. This is a place where everybody knows your name, and all new visitors are treated as family by the Humble minded constituents. I have gone to their karaoke night, which is carried out every Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. the next day, for the past 2 weeks, consecutively; each time finding myself inexorably drawn into the overwhelming luxurious Embrace that is these small town good natured people, coming together for one day just to enjoy themselves, and let the good times roll! This venue is highly recommended for people who are interested in getting over their fear of public speaking, or stage fright, due to just how supportive and non judgemental these patrons are. However, the facility itself looks somewhat run-down, and disheveled. The bathrooms look to be a little unsavory, and you can often hear sounds of glass breaking due to the inept bar staff. I would not recommend coming here, if you expect to have a well assembled or high-quality drinking experience. I ordered a Shirley Temple last week, and got some confusing vodka mixture instead. All in all, a wonderful experience, but don't come expecting to have anyting greater than a beer, and a loud riotous cacophony. Come for the company, stay for the party.
It is the best bar in mooresville. Always a good crowd, Cheap drinks, and good live music. Special shut to everyone that make this place great.
Decent beer prices. Friendly staff. A little dirty for some but it's a great place to catch awesome bands like Coddle Creek and DukTan!
