I have been a licensed Stylist and Nail Tech. in the state of Ohio since 1992,
but have been exposed to the business, through family, most of my life.
I opened The Beauty Lounge in 2007 with the help of my wonderful Husband Jason.
Since graduating from beauty school, I have continued to further my education in the industry by attending classes from Pivot Point International, Aveda, Paul Mitchell, Star Nail International, Creative Nail, and Cuccio' Naturale to name a few.
In 2002, I became a Redken Specialist and am currently one of the top 6 educators in the country
for Star Nail International and Cuccio' Naturale.
I have also been featured numerous times in Nails Magazine and Nail Pro Magazine.
As well as classes, I also attend as many industry shows as possible to stay on top of
the current styles and trends.
My core values are personal and professional growth - I am always learning and developing myself
to be the best that I can be.
I am a student of my profession and life.

Brenda Gibson
Hello! I have been a licensed manicurist in the state of Ohio since 1988 and a salon owner since 1991. I downsized in 2000 to be able to enjoy my chosen career and further myself in the industry.I became an educator for Star Nail International/Cuccio Bella Mani in 2001. I was trained to teach, and have since taught many continuing education classes to my fellow Techs. Since then, I have added the
One Minute Manicure Company to my resume and have become independently certified by the State of Ohio,
to teach my own classes on business and pedicures.
I have traveled extensively through the United States working industry shows and teaching classes.
I was quoted in the Ohio Stylist Paper and featured in the May 2005 issue of Nail Pro Magazine.
Locally, I have been on the advisory board for the Cosmetology Department of the Sylvania School System
and take part in the intern program. In 2006, I was selected as one of the "Top Six Educators"
in the country for Star Nail International.
I was treated to an all expense paid weekend in LA for more training and pampering!! I truly welcome the opportunity to help you experience some well deserved pampering!

Your appointments are very important to us, it is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without
giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and
clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.
At The Beauty Lounge we work to a schedule and arriving late will reduce the time
available for your service.
We regret that it may be necessary to treat appointments as cancelled for
clients arriving more than 15 minutes late but we will, wherever possible, adapt
the service to the time available although the full cost will be incurred.
