Founded in 1980, The Belmont Athletic Club continues to be at the forefront of Long Beach-area athletic clubs. We offer a full-service, friendly environment where you can achieve your fitness goals. Our ongoing programs and social activities bring members together and help to create lasting friendships- a true community club.

We offer professional training, a wide range of group exercise classes and four racquetball courts where members can participate in league, tournaments or open play.

All of our personal trainers are Ortho-Kinetics certified, have obtained a 4 year degree in a fitness discipline and/or at least one accredited certification program. Our Ortho-Kinetics system is designed to "Test, Design & Train," customizing each training session specifically for you.

We also offer acupuncture, massage therapy, steam rooms, saunas and whirlpools for your enjoyment.

I looked into all the gyms in the area and finally decided to give this place a go, having grown up just a few blocks away but never entered. I wish I had signed up sooner - very reasonably priced for the facilities you get to use. The Jacuzzi is what solidified it for me.

The Belmont Athletic Club feels like home. It has a boutique feel while remaining affordable and large. The staff are welcoming, the gym is tidy and it's never too crowded. I love relaxing in the women's sauna, steam room and hot tub after a work out with just a towel.  They also offer group personal training through Strength Shore Lab which is a killer workout.

I’ve been a member of The Belmont for over 20 years. Throughout those years, I’ve also belonged to Golds, 24 hour, and LA Fitness but never left The Belmont because it’s the best. I’ve seen it go through many changes but one thing that never changes is the sense of community. I love that people are there to exercise first and socialize second rather than a place to see and be seen. There are super early classes and a lovely locker room with showers and hairdryers which made it perfect for getting my workout in and to work on time. They also have late morning classes for after you drop the kids off. The weight machines are new and kept is top condition. It always feels clean and welcoming and I’m never leaving. Thank you Belmont family!

This gym has nice employees, all types of cardio machines, weight machines for all parts of the body, weights, basketball and other sports, trainers and classes to teach you how to exercise, locker rooms, and a pub with kind employees and a gorgeous outdoor view of Belmont Shore! What’s not to love?

Belmont Athletic club is a great gym! The people are chill and friendly here! It’s not too packed on the evenings, so you don’t have too fight for equipment. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s great variety of classes in morning and evenings.

I love my membership here! My wife and I have been a member of Belmont Athletic Club for over two years and in those two years I have experienced a real care from the staff. It has everything I need to workout and it's clean. The staff is always friendly and has taken care of all of our needs. I highly reccomend the Belmont A thletic Club if you are looking for a gym and more.

My absolute favorite gym. Friendly staff, very clean equipment and floors, nice cozy locker room with a sauna and jacuzzi. This has been my spot for years now, love going here especially early morning or later evening when there's almost no one here.  Since the remodel, I've been able to get a lot more free weight work in which is what I like most.  I also love being able to go up to Murphy's after a good workout to get a beer at one of the best spots on 2nd St.  Highly recommend this gym!!!

This gym has a community feel to it, always clean, and provides towel service. A great place if your looking to work out and join a community.

Great facilities and equipment! Everything is organized and clean! Enjoy using the basketball gym and steam room!

I've never enjoyed going to a gym so much before joining the Belmont Athletic Club. Everything is very clean, I love the classes especially Marita's, friendly staff, and you can't forget the sauna/steam room/jaccuzi combo in the locker room. Cucumber water is also a wonderful touch. So happy I joined!!
