So I've been reading the reviews and it's apparent that the owners are paying for the reviews because my experience was totally opposite of the reviews. Prices on drinks were outrageous 30 dollars for a crown n coke and a tequila sunrise, no place to sit unless you reserve a seat which isn't mentioned when buying tickets,floors about to fall through and music so loud you can barely make out the words they are singing. I've been to two shows at the blue bird and I don't think there will be a third. Cooper Alan and Bryson Cooper were awesome to watch will definitely see them again just not at that run down over priced hole in the wall venue.

Fun place to go every once in awhile. they got a good band in there playing live music. drinks are reasonably priced. Overall, a good place to hang with some friends and grab some drinks.

Love this place! Live music and small venue is always a great combo. Only complaint, drink prices are too high.

A very exciting and busy nightclub located in the heart of Bloomington. Saw a sold-out concert of Morgan Wallen. You are packed in there like sardines, but for the most part everyone is respectful and nice and there to enjoy great music. Multiple bathrooms was also helpful. Can't wait to go back

Nostalgic, small venue, with a personal feel.  We have always enjoyed seeing live music here, there are places to sit if you arrive early enough. The history adds to the ambiance.

Went to see Bastion Rose and Hairbangers Ball on Saturday night, and the place was packed and rocking! Had a booth, and it was much better than having to stand for the entire show. My only regret is that I didn't take earplugs. Would I go again? You bet!

Such a cool college town venue.  Great place for a live show.

Used to be great concert venue, but shows aren't as good as they once were.

I have seen Wanda Jackson and Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band twice at the Blue Bird. This is one of my favorite live music venues. It's very intimate.  Gives you the feel of hanging in a buddy's man cave/basement.  I was able to be at the feet of the artist for all shows that I have attended. If a band you like is playing here, I highly recommend you go!
