When I moved into the apartment I November of 2022, it was filthy. I took a video to show the management office. They did nothing about it. I moved out around the middle of August, knowing that I would have to pay the balance on the lease even if they rented it out for September. I spent hours cleaning the apartment. Everything was spotless. I took pictures of every room. The only thing I left in the apartment was a 2 pack of brand new sealed paper towels. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $100 for "removal of items", and $200+ for cleaning, and more for a small paint chip that was present when I moved in. The new management gives you a list of items that must be cleaned before you move out. The sheet they gave me said that everything had to be " spotless". A standard no one can reach and the apartment was far from clean when I moved in. Shame on this new management for ripping me and I'm sure others off.
Do not rent from them, charged $345 for a “cleaning” fee when I thoroughly cleaned the apartment before I left. Owned by Eucalyptus Real Estate corporate office. This real estate company is known for horrible apartments, poor tenant- landlord relations, and overall just poor maintenance. When I called the Bluffs for their corporate number, they would not give it to me, I had to search for it. On top of all of this, they would not give me my deposit back. Got new management just to be the same as the old ones. All the new reviews are a joke, this apartment conplex is a joke, as well as the entire real estate company. LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! Save yourself a headache and stress.
Prior to the new management team, I could understand why the reviews were so low. The new management team has been amazing! The office has been very professional and seem to really value what they do. Maintenance has been timely, kind, and able to resolve every issue we’ve had. For the value, these apartments have been great! Hopefully this new team is here to stay!
I have lived here for over a year and I was questioning renewing my lease until we got new management. I love the new property manager and Melissa has seriously been so much more help and knowledge then anyone else I have ever talked to. The new company did an amazing job with their choice in who they hired! I would tell anyone that is interested to go for it. Maintenance guys are super knowledgeable and listen to me when I have concerns!
It was the worst place that I have ever lived in. There are always cops around there. People in the office are rude to everyone. It took them 4 to 5 months before my washer got fixed. The pool was hardly clean. When it came to leaving there they were asking us to pay them double of what we owed. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Don’t be afraid by the one star reviews, those reviews reflect old management. The bluffs recently have had a new management company take over and the experience has been fantastic! When it comes to maintenance issues are resolved within a week and if the issue takes longer than a week, they get back to you within a couple of days we recently had preventative maintenance come and check our apartment with the property manager! The new management team has been so helpful and has really turn our experience around! My family loves living here, I would recommend this place!!!
I would love to recommend this place for you however I cannot after living there for almost 2 years. The parking lot is absolutely packed to the brim you’ll be lucky if you don’t have a door ding when you wake up the next morning. The staff inside the office is absolutely pitiful. The large black lady constantly wants to have an attitude. Everyone I know who lives there has had some poor interaction with her. If you ever need to call the office make sure you get put on hold or else they will dodge your calls or if you’re lucky to get an answer the lady who is willing to help won’t be there. The ladies in the office aren’t even willing to give contact information for the owner/corporation when you have an issue larger than what they can do. This place seems like they’re only out to get your money with their extreme rent price and outrageous fees. The walls on the inside are super thin you can hear every neighbor you have and it’s even worse if someone lives above you. The only people on the apartments payroll that are actually willing to help is the maintenance team. You’d think the ladies in the office would be more kind considering you’re the one paying their wages. This apartment complex is honestly lucky 0 stars isn’t an option or that’s what I would have given them.
I currently live here, I been here for two years and this last whenever I need something resolved in my apartment and I go to the office they do nothing until I complain at least 4 times. I recently went to the office because my room has black mold on the walls, because the window is broken and everything is damp from the weather and the manager at the complex office told me to only put sheets on the mold, that there was many apartments the same but they could not do anything. I have a 2-month-old baby who is sick and so am I, we have been sleeping in the living room and we are improving remarkably. I put this review because I am tired of so many excuses and lack of professionalism. They are not diligent and I responsibly pay my rent which is not cheap at all.
They're pretty quick on fixing my work orders. The maintenance guy Rocky came in he's very patient with me cause we did not see the initial fault. And he is very accomodating with all my questions and thorough on how he explains everything. I hope every maintenance person we get is like him. Very professional.
