The Boathouse South Hadley, Ma.

I just left this restaurant very satisfied. It was my first time with my friend. We ordered four appetizers. The steak & cheese egg roll, the calamari, buffalo chicken dip and the bruscheta. I returned the bruscheta because it tasted like watered down tomatoes, and I believe it had sourcream. The egg and cheese egg rolls were good. The chicken buffalo dip and the calamary were my favorites. For entrées My friend ordered the steak tips with mashed potatoes and broccoli this one is her favorite and I ordered the spinach risotto with scallops and it was delicious! We also ordered the Strawberry lemonade and although I do not like lemonade this one was delicious, I dream it all .We sat outside and the view was gorgeous and atmosphere was perfect. The indoor restaurant is beautiful as well. The waiter was amazing!! She definitely made the experience a 10. Thank you Grace P. I will be back.

I always look forward to coming here! I have not had a bad meal ever! The appetizer mussels are always delicious though. I do prefer the winter menu with the red sauce over the white garlic sauce in the summer months. The prime rib is always cook to perfection if you like it on the rarer side. They often have live music, there's Keno to play, tasty drink specials. And most of the time the service is great, that being said, there is a bartender that I find to be rude and inattentive.

The location on the river was really nice with great reviews. We went early afternoon for Sunday brunch and the place was packed. The restaurant is really big with a separate bar, a private room and even outdoor dinner as well. Really good menu and big drink selection.Food: 5/5

Great venue for a group gathering. We held our high school reunion here last weekend and everyone had a fantastic time. We had a separate dining area with a view of the marina and the Connecticut River. Food was delicious as expected as it's owned by the Yee family who also own Johnny's Bar & Grill and The Student Prince. Erica was our server for the buffet luncheon and she was very friendly, attentive and efficient, nice atmosphere. We all went on a boat ride after lunch on the Lady Bea. They also have an area for other restaurant patrons, great bar and outdoor covered seating. Highly recommend!

We parked the boat in the guest docks and got takeout here! It was a beautiful night so we took our takeout to a beach and ate it there. We had the bruschetta flatbread which was delicious but honestly probably better to eat in-house because it got a little soggy the way it was packaged. We also had steak and cheese egg rolls and the crab cake poppers. Everything was great and it was a perfect dinner shared between two people. We will be doing this again, maybe on a night where we don't have the pup and can dine in and have drinks at the new outdoor bar the marina has!

Went to the Boathouse for the first time in 3 years. We went early and sat at the bar. It was quiet, the staff was prepping for a busy night. We were greeted immediately by a bartender in a festive way. We ordered our drinks and a order of the mussels. We were not disappointed in the mussels. As a true New Englander I am always looking for the best seafood. The mussels were served with a spicy tomato red sauce. The kitchen painstakingly inserted spicy Italian sausage in each opened mussel. The flavor was incredible, the mussels were spot on for the tenderness. Best mussels I have ever had. The baked stuffed shrimp is served broiling hot. The stuffing was not heavy, shrimp cooked perfectly. We will be going back again.

Absolutely beautiful place, fast and wonderful service, great food. My family did not make a reservation but our wait time estimate was 15 minutes and was completely accurate. Our server was awesome and made great recommendations, I unfortunately can’t remember her name. The food was awesome and so many choices!!! I will be back for sure!!! Parking: lots of parking!

Was able to bring our dog to our outside table. I had Bacon Mac and Cheese Skillet and my wife had Steak Tip Salad. Both were delicious. Our server was very friendly and a different server stopped to chat about our dog.Food: 5/5
