Description

The Breakfast Table, one of Destin, Florida’s Premier breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurants, is a cooperative effort between Owner and Manager, Bridget Carnley, Chef John Zemanick and family.

She had a dream to open a breakfast and lunch restaurant for more than 10 years and had been searching in Destin, for just the right place. When space came available at the Mae Center, a commercial building that Bridget owns, it “just seemed right” to bring friends, dreams and stories together and open The Breakfast Table Cafe.

Trying to express their fondness of the Destin Harbor, they hope you will find the “Harbor rustic” theme and artwork interesting and fun. They think of The Breakfast Table as a locals “go to place” but they love visitors, so please join us.

I'd drive another 5 hours to eat breakfast here again. Superb breakfast, no exaggeration. Everything was made to order, and delicious. I tried the seafood omelette with hash brown casserole, and a biscuit. The omelette was fluffy and filled nicely with shrimp, scallops and a nice pepper blend. It was served with fresh pico and sour cream to top it off.  One of my favorite parts was the biscuit, because it was split and toasted nicely on the griddle giving it a nice crunch on the top and bottom, yet very soft and moist. Everything we had was a hit, with great service on top of that. Everyone was friendly, and the atmosphere was very warm and comfortable. I'll definitely return on my next trip to the area.

My husband and daughter and I ate here last week and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and good portions. Our waitresses name was Shay spelling might be wrong and she was GREAT. It got really busy super fast and she was handling all of it like a pro. I don’t think the food took long to come out at all. We have no complaints and will 100% be back.  Kid-friendliness: All of the staff we encountered was kid friendly and talkative to my toddler. I appreciate that!

When you walk in you will sign your self on the wait list. It may take a couple minutes for them to get you a table but it’s worth the wait. Once seated and your ordered is placed food comes very fast. I thought that I would have time to reply to some work emails but I didn’t. The toast and omelettes are delicious along with the hash brown casserole. This place is clean from top to bottom. Got to try!!!!!!!

I don't give 5 stars often. But this place was great. It was a cool space with an atmosphere that was cozy and allowed for conversation. The food was very good. The breakfast was in my top 10 breakfast places anywhere. The service was wonderful. Brian did a great job. We ordered the French toast, breakfast burrito, red roster sundae, and big biscuit breakfast. The home fries were wonderful, the gravy was great, everything tasted yummy. The value for the amount of food and the quality was on point. One of the best vanilla lattes I've ever had.

WOW.  Great atmosphere, great staff and delicious food.   Some would call me Karen when we go out to eat,  but not here.  The place is so cool with vibrant colors and Ariah adds to the vibrancy with her beauty with awesome customer service.  Our breakfast, while labeled the staple was far from the norm   Everything was cooked to perfection.

My husband got the seafood omelet which was AMAZING! BEST ON THE BLOCK! Shrimp cooked to perfection with yummy scallops. I had the French toast meal.  French toast was fried which I don't prefer and made them too rich.  Their bacon was DELICIOUS!  Definitely recommend this adorable restaurant!

Like the sign says, it's worth the wait. The server was really nice and the food was delicious. I highly recommend if you're in the area.Service: 4/5

I can't believe it took me living in Destin for 2 years before finally going to breakfast at Red Rooster Cafe! It is definitely my new favorite breakfast/brunch spot in town. A great menu that offers a little bit of everything. If you are looking for something salty and sweet, I highly recommend the Pancake or French Toast Meal because you get the best of both worlds. Can't wait to go back

This place is definitely a hole in the wall and you might miss it driving down the Main Street in Destin but it is worth the stop. The service was great and the food was amazing as well!!! Food came out fast and Jessica are server made sure we were take care of. Have to stop in for breakfast before you hit the beach!!!Food: 5/5

This was our 1st time visiting the Red Rooster Cafe and it was amazing! I loved the decorations and bright colors! It almost feels like you've stepped into an art gallery or someone's house that loves color. Even the bathroom is colorful and unique! Jessica was an awesome and sweet waitress. This is a family owned restaurant and meals are cooked fresh to order. Even with that being the case, the wait time wasn't long. Order the shrimp and grits. You won't be disappointed! Can't wait to come again!
