Perfect place for brunch, but get there early, or at least be willing to wait a little bit. This place is popular for a reason; the food is amazing! Do yourself a favor and opt for one of their muffins, and do get it cooked. You’ll thank me. The service was great, even with them being swamped. Their Jamaican me Crazy coffee was outstanding. Loved it all.
We had a wonderful breakfast. After trying another brunch place that chose not to sit my party of 7 even though they claimed to be first come first served. At the Brunchery we had a short wait, excellent, friendly service and delicious food. The portions were huge. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: The waitress was fantastic with my kids. She was patient and never made us feel rushed. She was very friendly and made us feel right at home.
Chicken sandwich in a croissant was so good it didn’t make it for the review. It was delicious. Seeing how food prices are normally going up everywhere my sandwich was not too expensive. I came along with two little noisy kids and staff was friendly and patient with us. Great place!
Overall a good experience. Located in a strip mall. Tight dining space inside. Ample parking. Gluten free bread, waffles, and muffins are offered at a very premium price though. I had the omelette with corned beef hash inside which was inedible. I scraped the canned mushy hash off the eggs and ate the eggs alone. Potatoes are good. My partner ordered the club sandwich which was a nice large portion. Food is overpriced for the quality. "Flavored' hot teas upcharge offered are unflavored standard black tea, green tea, and herbal tea. That's not gourmet tea or flavored tea by any standards. Service was good from the server however a young man tried to take my partner's plate while she was literally putting a piece of her sandwich into her mouth and still eating. VERY rude. I was not impressed by Brunchery.
This place is delicious. Great service. The food is really good and very good portions too. Definitely a new favorite.
Me, my wife and son went to this place for brunch today. We knew it would be good because of the wait and the food did not disappoint. I had the orange pecan French toast and the hash brown skillet. My wife had the hashbrown skillet with grits instead of egg, my son had the steak omlete with a Pancake. Everything was good. And a big enough portion size to need a to-go box. Only thing that was sub-par was the biscuit and gray. My wife had some, didn't enjoy it. Staff was awesome. It did feel like a long wait for the food and a coffee refill but the place was packed. We still enjoyed ourselves and was joking with the front hostess on the way out. Very nice establishment. Was worth the drive from 301 and Big Bend. Kid-friendliness: Nice options on the kids menu. Still nice portions. Parking: During the peak times you may have to park around the corner of the plaza and walk up.
My family REALLY enjoyed this place. Located in the corner of River hills Plaza, close to the Landing. It is a wonderful breakfast/lunch location. Serving custom items, like today is snicker doodle pancakes, soups, salads... It really has a great selection. There is something for everyone. The service is always top notch. Anyone walking by will offer to refill your drink or bring you something you desire. Not like other places where people ignore you once good had dropped. The Brunchery service and food are excellent, please stop by and give a whirl. Kid-friendliness: This is definitely a family restaurant. Kids are very welcome and accommodated. Dietary restrictions: There really is something for everyone. Vegan, gluten free etc... They've tried to have something to welcome all types of foodies' needs
The last time I dined in at The Brunchery was back in 2005 when our house was being built. My brother's mother-in-law was a regular, and she loved it. Our initial visit was at the original location on Oakfield Drive in Brandon. It was a small restaurant, but extremely popular. There was even a 15-30 minute wait to get a table back then. They had the same type of farmhouse décor. It was always packed with diners which is really why we never returned. Fortunately, they ended up moving to the bigger location on Lynx Paw Trail in Valrico. It was much bigger and brighter than the original location. It became even more popular. The parking lot was always full when I passed by it. Then, I later read that the original owner retired back in 2018 after 30 years of serving her customers. I expected it had gone downhill, so I never revisited until this week. Surprisingly, not a whole lot has changed. I think the only exception is that the new owners have expanded The Brunchery to Tampa. Oh, and the atmosphere and décor gives a very homey feeling. It's so much brighter and the tables are more spaced out. They have a huge chalkboard menu on the back wall. There were like 6 different quiches on the board as well as 6 muffin flavors. They have many different benedicts and even a couple of flavors of stuffed French toast. I was thinking of getting something a little light. It ended up being more than I could eat. They give very large portions. The veggie quiche was served warm. It was delicious! It had peppers, onions, mushrooms, and broccoli. I ate just about all of it including the crust. Definitely ask if they have other quiche flavors. The veggie one was not on the chalk board menu, and it was just as great. The fruit bowl was fresh. The grilled muffin with butter was a very nice treat. I followed the advice of other Yelpers and chose the Butter Rum flavor. It was a great choice, but a little on the sweet side. I think I'll try the pistachio one next time. The coffee was also very good. The flavor of the day was vanilla. The water was served ice cold in a glass mason jar. A very nice touch. I'm looking forward to more visits. They have a lobster benedict that I definitely want to try. I saw some yummy looking burgers on the menu too. I've also found that arriving early on a weekday morning is less crowded. There were only a few tables available when I walked in at 9:30 am. All bets are off after 10:30 am. The service was fantastic for a busy morning. The staff helps each other out. They checked in on me often to make sure I had everything I needed. I thought that was great. Try it if you happen to be in the area.
An amazing menu, you could go here dozens of times and have a different great meal every time. Love the service and the nice decor. The Brunchery does it right.
For my first time here I can't imagine topping the pumpkin stuffed french toast covered in caramel and whipped cream. The grilled pumpkin muffin was pretty good too. Yep, it was a pumpkin breakfast.
