This business/store is a GEM! This store still carries high quality/timeless furniture made by smaller companies that will last decades - and not end up in a land fill. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I use to shop at Ethan Allen but their furniture looks cheaper every year it's no longer timeless. This is the place to shop to fill your home with beautiful, high quality furniture.
I’ve had a great experience working with The Guest Room. I’ve been a client there since 2014. We’ve purchased furniture and other items got our home from them, as well as used their design services to have things made and recovered. All of it was done with impeccable detail and professionalism. We’ve found all of the people and services they use exactly the same: conscientious and professional. If there was the very rare issue with something like a part missing or something not working quite right, it is fixed swiftly and smoothly. I’d HIGHLY recommend them.
Furniture is very nice, but needed to be retouched on the 2 pieces I ordered. Waited 7 months for dresser, and in the 7 months I never heard from the Guest Room for any updates. The day of delivery I was never contacted as to what time the furniture would be delivered. They do have lovely things, but they could improve with customer service.
Our experience with The Guest Room was absolutely delightful. We came in looking for new living room furniture and the owner took the time to go over options and offered great design suggestions and we ended up purchasing a couch, swivel chair and ottoman for well within our budget. Thanks so much to The Guest Room and we will absolutely be back!
I have worked with Stefanie Powell at the Guest Room to design and furnish my home and office. I absolutely love the results. When we decided to design and build a new home, one of the first things I did was reach back out to them for help. I absolutely recommend this business.
The customer service at The Guest Room is terrible. There is a lack of follow up we’ve had to call repeatedly for order updates, and they never followed up with us on an item we asked them to order, and the owner is incredibly rude and condescending in her communications. Overall, pretty disappointing experience and won’t be shopping with them in the future.
The guest room is the absolute best. I bought many items for a new home here and the staff was always so helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Always a pleasant experience. They give you distance to shop, but sure are helpful when you are ready.
Professional, knowledgeable staff and spectacular design service!
