We live to bake, and bake to live. We're your custom dessert manufactory making any style and flavor you could imagine. We have all the classic flavors covered and take special requests any time. We've got gluten free and vegan recipes too. Just because your diet is restricted doesn't mean you have to be. Let us know how we can build a dessert that's just for you!

I will recommend The Cakabakery until my last breath. They somehow created the EXACT cake I had envisioned, with all my specific details included. Everyone was so so kind and matched my energy through the whole process. Not only was the cake absolutely STUNNING, it tasted even better than it looked if that's even possible. I brought the cake to my work, and I kept getting compliments all day that it was "the best cake they had ever had." Attached is a few photos from my in-house birthday photoshoot. Thank you again to Jason and everyone else at The Cakabakery!!
We got our wedding cake custom made from Jason and wow, it was STUNNING! We talked about doing something different for dessert, but for some reason I had it in my head that I wanted a tiered wedding cake When else are you going to have a reason to have a four tier cake? Life is short Beyond being beautiful, every flavor combo was delicious. They did such a great job of every aspect. Looking forward to eating that top tier on our anniversary! Professional and fast communication throughout the process. Out of everything it was honestly one of the easier details to coordinate, such a breeze! 10/10 a great bake. Thank you again!
Cakabakery baked our wedding cake. Let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS! It looked amazing, especially considering that we had about two "inspiration" pictures. Working with Alison was a dream. She made the process simple, communicated well, and always seemed enthusiastic about the project. If we were to need a custom cake in the future, we would likely try to work specifically with her because she was great. The bakery loses a star due to a few different communication issues. After our tasting, when we were trying to create a cake flavor, there was a lot of back and forth where we were told we couldn't do certain things without much guidance in what WAS possible. In the end, we ended up calling and talking with Alison instead. It was much easier, quicker, and we ended up happy. A week before the wedding, we got an email saying that they were no longer going to deliver the cake to the venue because they were booked for deliveries and someone could pick up our small cake. We had paid for the delivery long before so we were obviously frustrated and stressed. Alison made sure to give us a call, assured us that it would be taken care of, and it was. End of the day, we had a beautiful cake and Alison is a star.
10/10 this place is amazing! Cake after cake they have nailed each one for me. Their flavor variety is also really good, the cherry wheat lager is my favorite.
We ordered our wedding cake from here and it was a delight. I really liked the no hassle way of choosing your flavor at their location. Their delivery team even decorated my cake with the florals we provided and she did a great job! I really loved the flavor we chose and can’t wait to eat it again on our 1 year anniversary!
Jason and his staff make the best chocolate chip cookie hands down in Grand Rapids. Shoot, he probably makes the best cookie in all of West Michigan. His specialty cup cakes are excellent also. My family and I have had them a couple of times at weddings. What's even more impressive though, is the emphasis he puts on customer service. He is always friendly and has a smile on his face. His staff knows my wife and I by name. It is always a pleasure to visit Cakabakery.
Cakabakery is the best in town! They catered cupcakes and a personal cake for our wedding. We had the following flavors that were literally the most delicious tasting cakes ever: Strawberry Champagne, Sweet Potato, Cookie Dough and Vanilla. It was tough to narrow down what flavors we wanted for our wedding. All of our guests were so impressed by the taste and freshness of their cupcakes! Would highly recommend!
Wow…. What an amazing bakery ! Jason went above and beyond to make my daughters birthday so very special!! The cakes and cookies are off the charts delicious and beautiful! Can’t wait to go visit my daughter soon and make my way there!! Jason, you’re one very special guy! I thank you for putting a smile on this Mom’s face and an even bigger one on my daughters and grandsons! I so appreciate all your special touches and care!! Highly highly recommend this Bakery! 20 out of 10!!

We used Cakabakery for our wedding and they blew us away with their desserts! I was pretty vague with my description of the cake, telling them I wanted flowers and birds and giving a vague sense of color. They managed to far exceed my expectations and delivered the most beautiful cake for us. They also make excellent vegan cupcakes that our vegan guests LOVED. Use this bakery for your wedding!
