Beautiful - intricately designed pieces line this amazing space. Each has it's own story. Loved the tour of the upstairs and opportunity to see the machines at work.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
What a hidden gem of a museum - the staff are so thoughtful and knowledgeable. It’s free, the exhibit up right now on Mashrabiyya is visionary and expertly curated, and the shop had some wonderful things. 10/10
I checked out 'The Mashrabiya Project' at this exhibition location. Entrance is free, and this museum is worth a quick visit if you appreciate art made from wood.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
A hidden gem. Beautiful pieces in the upstairs exhibit. Amazing, how the artists bring the beauty of wood out for all to appreciate in a whole spectrum of ways. I'm definitely glad this popped up on a search of things to do in Old City Philadelphia.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
Very chic place in old city Philadelphia, lots of great crafts on show and on the first floor there is a great exhibition as well. The collection is nicely organized and neatly catalogued with author/date. Highly recommend, also has a book corner where people could sit and read about wood craft. Appreciate the museum.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Interesting museum, free to enter. You do need to lookup information on the computer inside or ask one of the staff questions to understand the artifacts you're looking at and understand their significance. Can be a quick visit otherwise.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Might be one of my favorite museums in Philadelphia. They have an exquisite permanent collection. They often rotate their temporary exhibits. There is a gift shop on sight. And, they offer workshops throughout the seasons.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

This place is just jaw-dropping amazing. You would never know by walking by the art they have in the larger back of the building. Highly recommend stopping in if you are in Old City.
