I came in the late evening. Stores were still open and not busy with vehicle or pedestrian traffic. It was busy with emergency vehicles driving though from police, fire and EMS. A quick stop with so much going on. This area has the LCBO and the Metro in the same parking lot. #localguides
The stores are good, your basic Big Box assortment. But the so-called Smart Centers are terrible for walking. There's far too much traffic and not enough crosswalks. I don't know who thought getting rid of malls was a good idea.
The store is your general LCBO. Stock was ok for what I needed. The review rating was based on 2 staff openly arguing with one another in front of clients. To make matters worse one of them was the cashier I was lined up to see. So I stood there listening to this nonsense and he had no clue how awful it looked, the wait time for me, and the overall impression that was created. The girl he was arguing with tried to disconnect from the conversation but he kept trying to engage her until she just walked away. Customer service training fail here!
I ended up needing some everyday every thing supplies. At the Dollar store and Wow dot ya just love em it's Kinda a estragyn soaked home Depot that Guys Don't mind stepping into. After going up the row by row ailes of stuff I love but don't need I ran into two pak and Bigger who were awesome and directed me to the construction and cleaning materials I needed thanks Boys great place low price great people
Not made for pedestrians. Sidewalks lead to fences or nowhere else to walk safely. You really have to plan your route , so you don't waste time and energy
Had a bad experience with a peasant at the food court she seems to think I should have to carry my groceries and make my child stand while I walk with a cane. I'm disabled and she called her a him self to me and has the audacity to tell me that I have to take my cart and get outside very rudely and ignorantly she's a royal c u n t... Denied my child and myself food after I had already purchased some for her at A&W I walked over and waited in line for Popeyes and then she comes up and tells me that I can't order food because I have a grocery cart with me and my kids sitting in it I've never had this problem before I'm in there almost every day buying snacks for my family why is this an issue all of a sudden please contact me back center mall if you'd like me to change this review.
This is @FriendlyFa$cism at it’s finest. The Centre property is not currently pedestrian friendly or even “J” walking friendly. You are unable to walk side walks straight through to Wal-Mart after walking west from Island Smoke dispensary, what should be the beginning of New Amsterdam in East Hamilton, followed by Live Life High headshop on the corner with Kennelworth. Then there should be even more cannabis related places to go to in this area all the way to Ottawa St. There should be eye-level signs on buildings like Mark Work’s Warehouse and Staples that you can actually see and read up close in front of the place to know what the store is. I often just walk by the store without even knowing it.
Close and everything u usually need in on little plaza n if not in the plaza you will find what you need within a 2km radius Guaranteed.... and leave with a smile and no regrets n no turning back:
The stores are fine, but traversing the parking lot is a nightmare if you use transit and a walker or wheelchair. Crosswalks that lead to curbs and 'ramps' onto deviders that have no ramp on the opposite side are just a couple of things you'll find when trying to go through the parking lot from one place to another. Ended up having to walk in traffic to get around a curb in a couple of spots. Summary: Stores are fine, parking lot accessibility needs a serious rethink and overhaul.
Always enjoy going here so many different varieties and retail stores to choose from.
