I’m a transplant and I’ve been hearing about this place since we moved here less than a year ago I finally made it and really enjoyed it. Very chill atmosphere, a drink for everyone, I don’t fancy the bourbons but I found one that I will definitely have again! They have a small beer selection as well for those who wanna keep it light. The menu is pages and pages of bourbon and mixed drinks with bourbon. The lighting is low so be prepared to let your eyes adjust if you go in the afternoon!

Awesome bar with an expansive selection of whiskies and other booze.  Service was top notch and the bartenders were very polite and helpful.  Their cocktail menu was excellent as well and very creative.  We were also lucky enough to witness one of the bartenders working on a new creation.  We ordered a couple whiskey flights and asked the bartender to choose for us and he made some great selections from lower to high octane on the proof spectrum.  I'm looking forward to coming back and would love to try emulating some of the menu items for myself.

Wow! What else can you say!? The selection is mind blowing and the service is top notch. The doorman was so welcoming and helpful. They will give you a pass to hang in your vehicle so you can park in the lot and not on the street. Though we didn't try the plethora of fine bourbonsince we had already got a little toasty in the Oregon on tequila, the tequila cocktails were OUT OF THIS WORLD! And our bartender really was phenomenal. Absolutely returning!

Best bourbon selection in the area with bartenders that can speak to it all. Great atmosphere and the new building has a lot more room than the old location. Highly recommend Joe’s barrel picks.

Great atmosphere and fantastic selection of Bourbons and Ryes. I had some Smooth Ambler Old Scout Gem City Bourbon Society pick, Weller Full Proof, and Whistle Pig 10 Year Small Batch Rye. Looking forward to going there again soon!

They have the single best selection of whiskeys and bourbon you can find for 200 miles. Their staff is genuine and awesome. Their bar is a beautiful and well loved antique. Their bathrooms are sparkling. The 4 star rating is for 2 reasons only: 1 they could use some soft surfaces to absorb sound from. You kind of have to tell to be heard even when your table is 10ft from anyone else. 2 I'm a cocktail guy, and every cocktail I've tried for a few visits has been syrupy and too sweet for me.  Again, this is a perfect, 5 star, mid day bourbon establishment. It's just a bit noisy and sweet on the cocktail side.

Always a great spot. My fiancé loves their selections. Sadly I’m not a bourbon, whiskey or scotch drinker but I do just fine with their delicious cocktails!

Any time I have ever come here it has been an amazing experience. The bar tenders are all extremely knowledgeable, and the cocktails rotate seasonally. The drinks are super creative, and what a great atmosphere to drink them in! The decor is so inviting and comforting, which makes it a great date spot. Absolutely a favorite bar for me in Dayton!

This place was fantastic; I could actually hear my friends speak to me, every bourbon I had was excellent, and the selection is amazing. They have everything from Old Grand Dad to Suntory Japanese whiskey and my bartender was a very nice guy. The atmosphere feels like an old speak easy picture, the actual bar itself is gorgeous. If you want to explore Bourbon or are already in love, this is the spot.

Excellent atmosphere, some of the best cocktails in Dayton. Location is a bit out of the way, but it makes it all the more worth it to end the night here. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, I have never had a bad experience here. It has well earned my favorite bar in Dayton.  Update: They have added amazing bourbon and whiskey tracking notebooks for members, and I must say it's an excellent upgrade from their previous system! Another reason that I am a regular at this phenomenal Dayton establishment.
