We love to visit the museum. All the exhibits are so much fun and educational for the kids. This time we saw so many new exhibits. The play space for infants is very well maintained. The only thing is 3 hrs is not enough for the kids to enjoy everything there.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
So many fun things for children! There are three floors of different themes! A bunch of STEM activities along with art. Very interactive for the whole family. Definitely can spend hours here. A great place to take your kid. I was surprised you can only do morning or afternoon now. We did 9:30 -12 with an active 4 year old and she saw most of it. She loved climbing on everything and trying out all the science experiment stuff, playing with bubbles, the boats, driving the bus and, of course climbing to the top of the net sculpture. I was a little surprised the museum shop was closed, we forgot to bring her mask and I hoped to buy one there . The staff at the front desk did give her one, though, so that was nice. It was a little bit of a walk from the sterling street garage they recommended but it was nice that we didn't have to cross any big streets and she enjoyed looking at the fort point channel and the Boston tea party museum. The Hood Milk bottle was closed they normally have ice cream but it was a freak 70 degree day in November so I wasn't surprised. There was a big room with tables you could eat in and vending machines. They closed at 12 so if you were hoping to sneak and stay later, you can't!
This museum is quite huge and plenty of activities for kids aged 2-10. My daughter loved spending time here. So much toddler activities are available in this museum built is 3 storeys. Weekends will be pretty busy so be prepared for kids chaos all over. But we had an incredible time with our daughter.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$11–15
Great for kids, a lot of activity based installations. It was timed entrance, we took the morning session and easily spent a couple of hours of fun experience. Get your museum pass from your nearest library and you get 50% off the admission.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$6–10
We had an incredibly fun time here! Not only is it just plain fun, it's also really educational! There's 3 floors of interactive activities for kids, and a jungle gym on the bottom floor. There are lockers for rent to keep your things while you explore and also a coat room you can use for free. They have dining on site as well, which we did not visit but it smelled good!
Getting there was fairly easy. Getting in was fast and simple. My kids had an absolute blast. There are so many areas to see and play in. There are bathrooms on every floor. Thank goodness there wasn't a gift shop!!!!
Probably the most fun place for kids in all of Boston. Your time and money are well spent. Staff are very nice and helpful. We loved it. Validate your parking ticket at Farnsworth Garage typically $40/day but only $20 with discount.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
Had an amazing experience exploring this place, kids had an incredible time playing and learning so much stuff under a single roof. The place is well-designed for interactive activities. Definitely going back again.
Very nice place for the kids to spend time. I wish they charge for the kids alone where as it s mostly monitoring the kids was the parents job. But they have lots of things for kids to enjoy. I would definitely visit again if I were a local. Price for entry: $20
