I went to see the Drowsy Chaperone. The Colony Theater is a nice theater. It's in a mall next to the Burlington coat factory. Go to the fourth floor of the parking structure and and the theater is right there. Plan to get there a little early because while there is plenty of parking, the signage is very wonky and it is easy to take a wrong turn. However once you get there The stage is great. They have raked seating so your view of the stage is pretty consistent and they're very disabled friendly. As for the show it was wonderful and I had a great time
another wonderful fundraising event produced by Suzanne. The story artists were all so very entertaining. Well Done ALL!
Great small venue, parking is free and in a multi story attached to theater. Seat rows are well staggered so that your view is not blocked by the person in front of you even if you are a tiny person.
The seating is rough. If you sit on the sides I suggest you go high for a good viewing of the stage. The middle section is the best but too close and you, again, might miss something. I sat is various places and the left side edge 2nd row was too close and obscured. They offer concessions which is great! Also, their bathrooms are clean and there are multiple hand sanitizer machines in the building. The musical itself Drowsy Chaperone performed by Debatable Productions was fun and delightful!! I saw it more than once to get a better view. Sorry, I forgot pictures.
Great location, it is an intimate setting; very close to artists, all seats offer great views. And the parking spaces are plenty. The Burbank mall location and the city are very nice. Went to an acoustic concert for the Boroughs Burbank High school VMA on February 2020 and had a great time.
Great local theater! We saw an original production here with intimate seating. Just a lovely little theater.
We used the Colony Theatre as a venue for our event on December 30th 2017. The venue is a little older than it looks in the pictures but it is a very beautiful space. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help in many ways. It was during a time where the flu is going around horribly so it did cause some issues with getting the staff there but besides that everything went very smoothly. Everything worked out and we had an extremely successful event. I would suggest that if you do use this venue to make sure you work with technical team up front for lighting and audio and also bring someone who has the expertise in your own crew to work with him hand in hand so that you can get your own personal design and have the people to run the equipment for you.
Small-medium sized theatre with every seat getting a great view of the performance.
Wonderful play. Very organized!
I saw the Troubadour Theater show there. Fabulous show!
