Came to watch Barbie this past weekend, & it was the busiest I have seen it. You couldn’t tell though, the staff was prepared & ready. Even with the long line in concession, they had certain things self serve & it made the line a breeze to go thru. Staff was also friendly. Bathrooms were clean. It’s always a great experience when we go! I will always go back!
Walt and Cathy have been running the Skyview Drive-In for years, and the love they feel for it is evident all around. From the welcoming, efficient ticket booth, to the friendly staff, an evening spent at the Skyview is a relaxing, fun time. And who can pass up tasty treats from the snack bar? Not us! Go support a local business that made it through the pandemic by offering the public what they needed-a safe way to spend a warm summer evening without spending a bundle in the process.
Bathrooms were clean, concession food was great, enjoyed the new flash movie with my husband and toddlers. My only complaint is I thought it was a little unprofessional that at the front gate while paying for tickets the gentleman helping us was puffing on a mod before getting me checked in. I think that’s something he should only be doing while on break or while there are no customers in front of him.
This place used to be great so many childhood memories now its just a sad shell of what it was. Walt new how to keep the place enjoyable. The new owners don't care about cars lights on during the whole moive just ruining the experience. food is lousy now also, kept under a heat lamp for hours. What a shame. Whatever as long as it makes money who cares right.
Great Value! Two movies for the price of one. Easy online ticket purchasing. Parking set so all have a pretty good, unobstructed view of the screen regardless of vehicle type. On time start. Polite staff. Clean bathrooms. Good concessions selection. Nice for families - I took my 8 and 6 yr old kiddos by myself and felt safe.
This is the best place ever! Best kept secret in lancaster ohio! Always clean, always working , great employees and just a secure safe environment for a weekend with kids or date night at the drive inns!
This was my first time coming. Many of the speakers you use for your car did not work, VERY frustrating. They do have a station on the radio you can tune to. Which is great, except the possibility of my truck going dead after 3+ hours of not running w the radio on. We couldn't start the truck up bc it is a diesel & the noise wouldn't be received well lol. Was in line for an hour for food which wasn't enjoyable, BUT could've been tolerable if they had speakers around the snack shack so we could hear the movie! They had TVs inside that were off, which again would've been great to have the movie playing we paid to watch. We left after the 1st movie.
Had a good experience. The concession stand is a good value and they have a lot to choose from!
We haven't been there in at least 3yrs & that's bc both movies are usually geared more to kids. If the first movie is more kid friendly, then have the 2nd one for adults. Two kid friendly movies is too much.
We arrived 20 minutes before the show started and waited in line for 50 minutes to get inside. Since you have to purchase tickets online, I am not sure why the line moves so slow. Once inside, parking was limited and hard to find three spots in a row. Once parked, we were able to set up our chairs and hit the concessions since you need a permit for outside food and drinks. We thought we could “help out since Covid” but most items were sold out and what we did get must have sitting around since before the show started. I have to say, I didn’t like buying the tickets online. We ended up paying for an extra ticket. Most of the speakers are missing. You will need to use the radio in your car and this is a pain because a lot of cars have an automatic shut off. They did not replay the first movie like they used to which was disappointing. On a positive note, I have noticed that you do not employ the child predator at your family entertainment place any longer so that should make parents feel more comfortable this season.
