Welcome to The Cookie Grove! I enjoy hand crafting Sugar Cookies to match your themed birthday parties, bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, baptisms, dedications, holiday gatherings, etc. Each order can come on a platter or individually packaged with matching ribbon.
To ensure the best quality for you, every order is freshly baked and packaged no more than 5 days prior to your event. If placing an order, I request at least 10 days advanced notice since I am a one woman baking show :o)
I mainly cater to family, friends, and friends of friends by local delivery. If you'd like an order shipped, I'm currently working on the logistics!
Cookie Care:
Cookies are good for approx. 7-10 days after delivery.
Refrigeration will DRY them out.
I use an uninspected kitchen but take utmost care in your cookie preperation!
Your cookies will not melt, but keep them in a safe place as they can be delicate.
Freezing Cookies:
After I package the cookies, they are best within a week. They stay freshest when individually wrapped or in a container.
These cookies can be frozen after decorated. However, you will need to put them in the oven since freezing changes the color of the icing and the easiest way to revert them is heat. So, anyone can always order in advance if they want to freeze them for a later date. If frozen, they are best if used within 3-6 months.
When ready to bring them out, thaw in the container you froze them in (freezer safe containers OR freezer friendly Ziploc are recommended) at ROOM TEMPERATURE for several hours.
Never thaw in the refrigerator.
Condensation can ruin the icing.
