The Day Hiker

Customer service was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Bought some of the Day Hiker brand trekking poles to use on a hike to Hen Wallow Falls! Made the trek out to the falls much more enjoyable! Great quality and a great price! Would shop here again!

This little shop has everything you need for day hiking and most things one might need for overnights. It was pretty amazing. If you've come to hike the National Park and you require a piece of gear or two, this is definitely the place to find it. If it's not here, I'd be surprised. The staff is really helpful and friendly.

I love The Day Hiker! The shop has become one of my favorites in Gatlinburg. The shop has a variety of high quality goods and great hiking gear. My husband and I are happy to support small business and are extremely happy to have found The Day Hikers website! I know where I will be Christmas shopping! 10/10 recommend shopping here!

The Day Hiker shop might be small, but it is jam-packed with a wide selection of camping and hiking gear. I was really impressed with everything I found. I even picked up a chord for glasses that we need for our whitewater rafting trip. If you need something or just want to have fun looking, stop into the Day Hiker.

Really nice little outfitter - a hidden gem in downtown Gatlinburg. The man who was working was very helpful and enthusiastic I think he may have been an owner. Prices were great along with great selection. Highly recommend stopping by

I am madly in love with this store. The clerk was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me so much. I purchased a hiking back pack and she took the time to not only check ALL aspects of the bag to make sure it was good, but taught me a lot about the bag too. I've never been to a store where someone took the time to do this, and I highly appreciate it. And the prices are AMAZING!! Absolutely a solid 10/10 must go to store!

Awesome hiking pants for CHEAP Like half the price of other places we found. They just didn't have any in my size. Sincerely hope they open up online because we'd definitely invest in some. Staff was nice and polite
