Recently saw The Airborne Toxic Event play here. It’s a cool venue with two levels. The floor level has standing room upfront and seating/bar at the back. Upstairs has more seating. My biggest complaint was how incredibly hot it was. The place was packed, so I imagine that makes it difficult to cool, but everyone was dripping in sweat. After the concert was over, condensation was dripping from the ceiling. Turning up the AC would be super nice. Staff wise things seemed fine. We needed to use the restroom after and all the staff members we met were friendly and helpful.
The show was great but let’s talk about the venue. Everyone employed were SUPER nice, respectful and attentive. We had some “fun fans” who were a little disruptive but instead of acting tough and kicking them out, the staff were dealt with them with grace and everyone had a great time. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Oh! And the mens room was actually clean! How many concert venues have you been to and felt like no one cared. The Depot does. It’s appreciated.
Buck cherry was amazing. The atmosphere was energized, the staff amazing friendly. The chicken strips and garlic parmesan fries were yummy, the Georgia Peach cocktails off the hook!! Had a great time!
Cool venue! I went to see Purity Ring. My biggest concern coming to this venue for the first time was all of the negative reviews about staff. Thankfully, everyone I came into contact with was very courteous and they did their jobs well. The venue felt safe and I had a great time.
I really like the venue. Sound was well designed and there is plenty of space. Even the bathrooms are great. The Depot is an awesome place to experience a concert.
I came here for Epik High concert. The event said it would start at 7PM but the security made everyone wait outside until 7PM while it was snowing - it was super freezing. At the gate, they made me put my light stick back in the car because it was too big which I didn't have any problem at other concerts. They should have announced the size of the bag we can take inside the venue. The securities were very rude too. Even worse, the event didn't even start after 8PM. People were tired of waiting outside the cold for so long and then having to wait another hour standing. Epik High didn't show up until 8:47PM. This soloist named Kim Woo Sung part of the band called the Rose performed and he was good, but we were not aware that he was performing either. The view was good though. It was very packed and you had no space at all even to sit for a bit, but you could clearly see the artists faces and it was so close up. The view was as good as it was on the first floor as the second floor. I enjoyed the show, but it was sooooo tiring. If the venue started to check us in before 7PM and started at 7PM, the crowd would've been more energetic and would've enjoyed the show more. Depending on the artist, they sell merch right next to the crowd. Be ready to be standing for at least 4 hours 1 hour side waiting, 1 hour inside waiting, and 2 hours for the show if you ever visit here. They serve beer and food if you ever get hungry.
1st time ever there was for a Rival Sons concert on November 1st. There are Covid requirements to get in the door - either a negative test or a vaccine card. Which was great so everyone could enjoy the show without having to worry so much. Upper floor was paid seating, and there are also tables and benches in the back for those who want to get food and watch the show "in style." Sound system is great, very clear, no feedback or overload. The lighting is solid too. You can get REALLY close to the act without having to worry about a huge crowd. Great place overall.
Went to two shows back to back. Venue sold “fast pass” tickets to cut the line… 30 mins before ‘doors open’ employees walked down to the end of the line to those who just arrived and offered them a separate line that has early entry.. of course for 15$. Don’t bother waiting in line I suppose? This venue would prefer your 15$ Employees are nice, besides an experience I had with a single employee. 3/5 I will come back for the artists not the venue. I wish venues understood that the attendees are consumers of the artists and the venue..
Saw "Murder by Death" and "Amigo the Devil". The bands were great. Love the sound and the atmosphere. That place was elbow to elbow last night, but they have good A/C so it was bearable. We loved it!
Great staff in a nice small venue. 2 floors means everywhere has a good view of the stage. There are some structural pillars in the way of some standing space, but it seems like they keep ticket sales to the point that these can be avoided without feeling cramped. A bit pricey, but nothing over what could be expected at an event center. Overall a great time and a good experience.
