UTA Frontrunner Salt Lake Central Station

Easy-to-use train platform with connections to city buses.

You can't hardly say anything negative about front runner or any of its stations. Digital readout of arrivals. Large parking lots. Bright lights for the night along with large amount of cameras. Clean trains. Free wifi. Restrooms. Very bike friendly. If you want public transportation, you got it right here folks. Google map any station for in depth arrival and departure schedule.

The cost is really the only downside. Free WiFi, usually runs on time and very large compartments. The double deckers have a great view! It's also nice to zip by traffic on the freeway!

If you don't have access to a car or don't want to spend a lot of money on gas, the UTA Frontrunner is the best way to go from Ogden to Provo or anywhere in between. All of the stations have parking for your car and are kept clean and tidy. Most stations have bus stops right in the parking lot to take you where you need to go.

I got off the train after a long day and was welcomed by a lot of people vaping on the platform!! I was NOT happy at all!! I’m sure others were not happy either!! Very disappointed!!

I like this train station better than the Clearfield one, plus I do miss the restaurant "The Whistle Stop", me and my family sometimes went to have breakfast there.

It seems dumb to allow people to park their bikes in front of the emergency exit windows. So they don't but people will still do it because it's seemingly intuitive to do.

Largest city in Davis County has the least amount of frontrunner parking. Lot often fills in the morning.

Monday - Thursday there’s no parking here. Worst station to live next to. Have to travel to Farmington or Clearfield. Ridiculous

It's a nice train station. It's close to downtown Layton and has plenty of parking.
