First time going and definitely not the last. The park is right by the Hudson River. The view is beautiful. There is a restaurant in the park also that I plan on going to very soon. There are grills for BBQing, and tables very nice. A park for children also very nice. Many people walking exercising and many walking their dogs and all of them on a leash from what I saw with one exception. Great for catching sun and enjoying a beautiful breeze coming off the river. There is parking also that's paid for using an app. And very responsable pricing. If you want to get away from the city while in the city this is the place. But one constant reminder is the trains that go by every so often but we'll worth a few horn blows and train noise briefly for sure. Bring your cooler chairs and sandwiches chips fruit salads lol it's your day. Or come ready to BBQ. All in all a beautiful place to enjoy. Playground: Great for the children. Restrooms: Very clean and nice. Dog-friendliness: Many people walking their dogs all types and all in a leash. Picnic area: Many in the park for sure. Tables and grills for BBQing.
Dog friendly! A great place to visit in the evenings. So much activity to be seen in the spring time. I enjoyed brining my pup here. The views were very scenic and tranquil. Loved the atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back here.
Just 30 minutes outside of New York City this park offers a variety of wonderful things to enjoy first off plenty of parking at only $10 for 24 hours does a big soccer field for kids to enjoy along with the Park area for smaller and bigger kids plenty of grass and space for barbecue and and picnic the park also provides BBQ pits for guest a men's and women's bathroom also there is a pier for looking at the beautiful view of the Hudson River as well as fishing a very pretty walking path and two restaurants on the grounds if you will love to take your significant other or family on the wonderful date or dinner 100% definitely a place to go.
