The Donohue Funeral Home A family business for 4 generations so far! went above and beyond for our memorial service. We wanted to do an "inside out" service where most of the attendees were on Zoom and a dozen people were in person. Mike Donohue, Kim Henry and their very smart media team went out of their way to make sure that the experience was a meaningful one whether the guests were online or in the room. They arranged for a beautiful slideshow on the screens when the Zoom meeting was not showing, managed all of the sound considerations of the speakers and the music and provided beautiful flowers, posters, prayer cards, programs--everything you could possibly want with little need for anything from us. Mike also personally accompanied us to the grave site where a deacon also seamlessly arranged by the Donohue Funeral Home spoke kindly and effectively. They even set up a tent and comfortable chairs to shield us from the rainy downpour, remnants of a hurricane. We could not have been more pleased with the service they provided, right down to the attention to details afterward to be sure we were taken care of properly. Highly recommended and grateful for all of their amazing help. We are from out of state and could not have done it without them!
I never thought I'd be writing a review for a funeral home, but I just wanted to share our experience in the hope that it helps others experiencing a loss and to commend Donohue. Donohue made the heartbreaking process of memorializing my father following his sudden passing as smooth as possible. My family and I were so impressed with Mike's responsiveness, care and attention to detail. It was a great comfort to us to have such a kind and compassionate group of people to handle the funeral arrangements. Mike did such a beautiful job personalizing the services and making sure everything was handled. I would highly recommend Donohue to anyone in the unfortunate position of looking for a funeral home.
First I’d like to thank Dan and team at Donohue Funeral Home for arranging a wonderful service for our son, Bill. This time in our lives was extremely stressful and they took a lot of the pressure off us by handling everything. The service was beautiful, the posters, pictures, and video were heart touching and unique to Bill, a lot of thought and care went into every aspect of the services. I can’t say enough good thing about everyone at Donohue.

During a challenging time, it’s great to know you can count on someone to help. Donohue did just that. They were supportive, honest and up front without any pressure. We used their services and facility for dad’s memorial, and it’s hard to imagine how the event could have turned out better.
I discovered Donohue Funeral Home through the Afford Cremation Society of Delaware Valley website. I was impressed by the Donohue website and the clarity in which everything was explained and offered. I made a pre-planned arrangement for a family member. Everyone was helpful, answered all my questions and were quick to respond. I truly felt that every person I dealt with showed true empathy and caring. My family member passed much sooner than anticipated and Donohue responded quickly and thoughtfully. Some difficulties arose, which they again, handled thoughtfully and managed for me, helping keep my own stress at bay. I appreciate the kindness and caring in my entire experience with Donohue and highly recommend them.
Donohue provided excellent service for our Mom's funeral, and exceeded our expectations in every way. Our deepest appreciation to Matt Q and the rest of the Donohue staff for making a difficult time as seamless and simple as possible.
My cousin passed away this year and we turned to the Donohue Funeral Home to help our loved one rest easy. This Funeral Home took every chance to provide the bare minimum when it came to the funeral. Not only were they given enough information to make this day special for our mourning family members, they completely ignored all requests and left a n ad for their floral store in the obituary. My family members worked very hard to ensure that this day was special and Donohue Funeral Home took it upon themselves as a business to make sure this day was anything but a great experience and closure for my suffering family.
I ordered flowers for my mother-in laws funeral through Donahue 's funeral home. They have a satisfaction guarantee and charge a service fee for handling flowers. I never saw the flowers and was charged for them. They refuse any refund even though that moment can never be recaptured. They claim the invisible flowers that No one in my family saw where delivered. They did not honor their agreement of satisfaction.. I also found the funeral was very unorganized and not well managed .
Thank you for making this sad occasion an Endearing experience for my entire family. You used the pictures we had to create a beautiful video, a huge picture collage, an amazing trifold brochure, a picture blanket and a painted portrait. Such a beautiful display and wonderful tribute to my father, Michael Bair. From our family to yours…..Thank you!
