Promoting Innovation in Medicine since 1976
FIM’s goal is to speed up the discovery of major medical therapies within the near- not distant- future! Ask yourself this. “When was the last time there was a medical cure?” Stumped? One major reason is that, despite our marvelous technology, our discovery system is stagnant is due to the huge barriers to conduct clinical studies to test new therapies. FIM believes that the Doctornaut Act, where physicians can volunteer for clinical studies more easily than non-physicians, will diminish these barriers sufficiently to speed up medical discovery benefiting both children and adult patients.
