Hospice is a special kind of care designed to provide comfort and support to people who are facing a life-limiting illness. What makes hospice care unique is that it provides support not only to individuals but their entire family.
The Fraser Canyon Hospice was started in 1995 by a group of dedicated community members who understood the importance of having hospice supports available in the community of Hope. Now our dedicated board members and wonderful volunteers provide palliative and bereavement support in Hope, Boston Bar, Yale, and Manning Park.
The Fraser Canyon Hospice Society's mission is to provide quality support and end of life services to our clients and their loved ones, care givers and the bereaved in Hope and its surrounding areas.
