Came here on 7/9/2023. Got the bacon double cheeseburger and frys. The sandwich was huge! Very good. Frys not bad also. Others in my group loved their food also. Good place for family's.Food: 4/5
Service was awesome, Ugalde's omelet was great. I ordered the omelet with bacon grits, crispy hash browns and a biscuit. The biscuit was a hamburger bun with butter on top... The hash browns were... mushy. And I never did get the bacon. They did remake the hash browns and they were literally charred on the edges and still mushy. ‍ And they replace the hamburger bun with sourdough toast... The toast was great. Robin, my waitress, worked very hard to try and correct everything and was one of the few shining stars in this experience. They did not charge me for the bacon and gave a small discount for the hash brown combo. Plenty of other places for me to try next time I'm in Wabash. I won't be back to The Fried Egg.
Well I brought 15 people to this place. I sat next to them. The waitress never gave me a menu.. no drink and no order. The other waitress with the table never did either!!! And the lady walking around never did either...NO ONE APPROUCHED ME AND IGNORED ME WHEN I ASKED FOR A MENU AMD DRINK! we sat in the over flow area!!!! Uncalled for!!! I will NEVER bring anyone here again!!!
Clean, comfortable spot with a good variety of breakfast items. I liked my skillet, but I snuck a bite of my son's Southwest Skillet with chorizo, and it was fantastic. We also split some biscuits and gravy, which were also pretty great. I drive past the place 2-3 times per year, and I'm glad we finally stopped.Food: 5/5
My group had just finished up a triathlon in Huntington, so we were starving, and almost everything in that town was closed. Came out here as a last resort and it was worth the trip! I had the Ugalde’s Omelet and my wife had the Breakfast Croissant. The kids had some rather impressive kids meals I think most places under estimate how much kids eat. The portions were large enough to satisfy our big appetites. Service was good, the place is large and can accommodate big parties, and they have a decent variety to their menu. The coffee was weak, so I'd probably pass on that next time.
My mother and my three children met with me at The Fried Egg for lunch/brunch. The food was cooked exactly as ordered and tasted great. I will not attempt to rate each meal. I know that three of us had breakfast and two went with lunch. We were happy with our choices and did not leave hungry. Ready for a nap but not hungry. The atmosphere was casual, and our server was fun, upbeat, and pleasant. As she was handing out our plates of food; She took the time to assist me with snapping a few pictures of my family. *Edit* It has been approximately one month since our first visit mentioned above. We have eaten there three times now. We are always satisfied with the service and the food is good. It is always busy for the standard lunch and dinner times but the hostess always finds us a seat. The girls are on top of it and never keep you waiting. Good Jobs gals Jeff, Levi, Kayla, Thomas, and Linda Mom
Delicious!!! Definitely recommend! Very clean, service was awesome, food was great! Large portions, tastes like home cookin. I had the taco salad and my hubby had the pork chops, mashed potatoes with gravy and mixed veggies.
I've been here a couple times. The first time the waitress acted like she didn't wanna serve us and the second time other customers were shooting me and my fiance dirty looks. Overall if you wanna feel like you're being judged by all means eat hereFood: 3/5
Usually great food and service. Today they were inundated with church crowds and neglected people waiting at the front. Mocked guests when they couldn't wait any longer for a table and left
First time here had a great experience. The food portions are very large. I got one of their famous omelettes it was delicious. You get so much food for a reasonable price. Yeah atmosphere inside is very nice. All the wait staff was kind and courteous. Will definitely be back
