Trump chicago

Description

The Trump International Hotel and Tower, also known as Trump Tower Chicago and Trump Tower, is a skyscraper condo-hotel in downtown Chicago, Illinois. The building, named after businessman and President-elect of the United States Donald Trump, was designed by architect Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Bovis Lend Lease built the 98-story structure, which reaches a height of 1389ft including its spire, its roof topping out at 1170ft. It is next to the main branch of the Chicago River, with a view of the entry to Lake Michigan beyond a series of bridges over the river. The building received publicity when the winner of the first season of The Apprentice reality television show, Bill Rancic, chose to manage the construction of the tower over managing a new Trump National Golf Course and resort in Los Angeles.Trump announced in 2001 that the skyscraper would become the tallest building in the world, but after the September 11 attacks that same year, he scaled back the building's plans, and its design underwent several revisions. When topped out in 2009, it became the fourth-tallest building in the US. It surpassed the city's John Hancock Center as the building with the highest residence (apartment or condo) in the world, and held this title until the completion of the Burj Khalifa.

Great great experience. Staff was kind & helpful, room was beyond clean & nice, the views were spectacular! Terrace 16 restaurant was a never forgettable experience.. All around a great stay. Location of hotel was PERFECT Rooms: Clean & classy
Very nice hotel. Guest service was great. We got there at 11am 5 hours before standard check in and we were able to check in early. Even though we did not valet for have a car, the valet guy acted like he wanted nothing to do with us after we told him we were getting an Uber. The front desk staff was great though. We got a view overlooking the water and Lake Michigan and it was great. The room had a few tiny issues like a few dings and knicks in the furniture and one of the light switches was pressed in and broken. The television is very nice, but only 1080p. It's 2023 and 4K TVs should be standard and a nice hotel like this. Hey they do that shady practice of putting a bunch of enticing sweets and candies and whatnot which for people that do not stay in hotels often can be tricked into taking these thinking they are free. Also the prices on them are absolutely insane. I love the automatic curtain feature. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice with a huge tub and walk-in shower. In a perfect location with plenty of restaurants nearby.
On of the most iconic hotels in chicago and definitely the best view in the city at the terrace on the 16 floor. Costumer service on top and amazing amenities. They recently got 5 stars and they did deserve it. Vito at the restaurant upstairs a true gentleman. The chef who’s running the show, great culinary skills and amazing dishes.
I have my hair highlighted here at the Anthony Christiano Salon. Todd does my color and is excellent. Anthony cuts my hair and is a perfectionist. And the salon has floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the Chicago river. It is a gorgeous salon with talented professionals.Service: 5/5
I really loved my stay here, wonderful accomodations, my only complaint is that a $500 a night room has a generic plastic sliding door for the bathroom that you can see and hear through. NOT COOL AT ALLRooms: 3/5
I loved that the building was bathed in blue light the day the 3rd indictment came down. It was a nice salute to law enforcement. Bar was really overpriced and drinks on the weak side. Will probably upgrade my Chicago stay to the Ohio House next time. Food & drinks: Foods was average at best and prices were high even by Chicago standards.
One of my favorites hotel so far in chicago! The employees are very friendly and the room was spectacular! I highly recommendRooms: 5/5
Ok, so ...this was expected to have a high standard of excellence. Unfortunately it is not. We book this not only for location, but also for the amenities. We were NOT told that the spa, sauna and lockers were in renovation. Gym was good, pool was cold...We were offered a $50 credit towards the minibar in the room for the inconvenience related to the amenities. What a joke! The items in the minibar were priced nowhere near the 50. Example, a bottle of Tito's was priced at $175. It is about$10 at the grocery store. So we ordered 2 margaritas from the hotel bar, and we were charged extra for delivery. What a shame , when one was priced at $24. Rooms: if this is luxury hotel , then any other hotel chains , or even motels should be classified as luxury. SEE Pictures: chiped mirror frame, scratched and chiped bed headboard, stained sheets and matress covers and old , very scratched furniture, dirty moldings, and MOLD on shower tiles and grout! All this for $400+ per night.
The fourth tallest building in the United States, Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago served as the inspiration for Dubai's Burj Khalifa, and has quickly become one of the best luxury hotels in Chicago and downtown's most enviable address. Rooms: Spacious wide rooms Nearby activities: It's right in the core of Downtown Chicago, Illinois so plenty to explore Safety: Very very safe Walkability: Easily reachable Food & drinks: Many options. Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Italian, Korean
