The Fritzi Gallery displays works by Diploma students of the Ottawa School of Art for the season of 2015/2016.
The Lorraine Fritzi Yale Gallery displays works by a range of contemporary local artists. Many of the exhibitions work in direct rotation with the play season of the Great Canadian Theatre Company. Each visual artist creates works in direct response to the current production.
The Fritzi Gallery is dedicated to the collaborative arts, offering the public a unique dialogue between two artistic disciplines: theatre and fine art. The Fritzi Gallery displays both solo and group exhibitions on the mezzanine level of the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre.
The Fritzi Gallery opened to the public in the fall of 2007 thanks to the generous gift made by Janet Yale, in honour of her late mother and artist, Lorraine ‘Fritzi’ Yale and TELUS. The gallery also works in association with Cube Gallery.
The Fritzi Gallery is a unique gallery in the theatre and art world, where art is born from art.
